Actual room is older than it looks on the photos. It has a window but wooden window with no curtain so there was no sunlight in the room. Bottled water was provided. Close to night market. They have some options for breakfast.

Very friendly host. Room was very basic and without real windows on the ground floor. But the place has apparently different kind of rooms.

Not bad. A bit of walking distance to main attractions in the town. There are many options in LP. In fact there is another Soutikone Place called Soutikone Place House 1 which is located in (for me) a better area near to the Mekong River. But it was quick one-night visit for me. So it was okay. I will come again to this beautiful town.

I chose this hotel because I could stay in a private room at a price not much different from the guesthouse and breakfast was provided. The room was a one-room apartment with a double bed and a toilet with a shower. It was equipped with a hot water pot, refrigerator, safe, hair dryer, and TV, and the air conditioner was also working. There were two bottles of water in the refrigerator that were free to drink. The shower had enough water to use hot water. The doors and walls were thin, so I could hear the surrounding conversations quite a bit. The bed was hard. The sheets and pillowcases seemed to be changed every day, but for some reason they were a little damp. The laundry service was probably 30,000 kip per kg, which was cheaper than the surrounding laundry shops. The breakfast was sufficient in both quantity and quality, and I didn't need to eat anything extra. There were also rental motorbikes and bicycles, and I rented a bicycle for 30,000 kip per day. However, the chain stretched and came off, probably due to aging, so I couldn't ride it, and they didn't provide me with a replacement bicycle after that. I also paid 50,000 kip for repairs.

The waiter spoke English, so check-in was smooth. They also gave us tourist information, so the service was very good. The room was clean, but we saw about five ants. The breakfast was also good. The room was air-conditioned, so we slept comfortably. Be careful, as the doorknob looked like it might come off.

The Wifi is a little weak, and the house is a little old, so some nails will protrude and easily pierce the feet, but the main reason is because the humidity is too heavy, so we stayed for a few days and left, but the price is very good and it comes with breakfast.
