"This is a quirky boutique hotel that is on a main road. While there's no front desk staff, the manager was available by phone, and she was helpful with the check-in process. Be warned that there is no elevator! Fortunately, we were allowed to leave our heavy bags on the ground floor and just take out what was needed from our bags to make the trek up to our room on the 3rd floor. Our room had a an extremely comfy bed. The bathroom was nicely updated, but the door situation was interesting. We only stayed here one night, but the value was there for sure. As a bonus there were several good restaurants and a supermarket in close proximity. My one negative comment is that there was stuff left in the fridge from a previous occupant."

"This is my second stay at this hotel, and I find its location quite convenient. Located right off the 710, it provides easy access to various parts of Los Angeles County. The attached garage is a significant advantage, particularly considering the prevalence of car vandalism in Long Beach. While the rooms lack a touch of luxury, they offer a decent accommodation experience with firm beds. The bathrooms show a hint of age, yet nothing too dramatic. The lobby provides complimentary food and drinks, enhancing the overall experience. In summary, the hotel serves its purpose effectively. I plan to consider it again for my next visit to Long Beach."

"This was our 2nd year of attending Dark Harbor. We had a larger room this year with a harbor view. The negative things were the amenities. Last year there were no amenities whatsoever and bed bugs. I contacted the management team and let them know what had happened. I was assured that we would be compensated for the problem. Not only were we not compensated but we actually paid more for our room. We are not new to the Halloween 🎃 event. We attended the Shipwreck events the first 10 years it was open with our kids and friends. I am very disappointed that you misrepresented your care of returning passengers. Other than that we are looking forward to next year."

"The rainfall shower was amazing great water pressure. Bed was so fresh and comfortable, AC kept the room nice and chill. Pool and view is picture perfect. Front desk and staff go above and beyond to help, will definitely book again for the cruise. 10/10"

"We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Queen Mary. We were there for Dark Harbor and wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance. The room was updated and clean. The reception staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the firepit area and the pretty harbor view. I was a bit disappointed to see that the hotel did not provide any drinking water. I would like to recommend at least a water dispenser in the lobby if they’re opposed to leaving a couple of bottles in the room. Overall though, it was a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend."

"Wow. We love the staff and our experience. Room: The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There are great blackout curtains on both sides of the bed that can charge the device. Staff: On our first night, a gentleman checked in for us, his service and attitude was the best and very welcoming. The staff wanted to work here and I felt very welcome and valued as a guest. Even if you don’t have activities to attend in Long Beach, I will stay here and travel further afield to participate in what you’re going to do! We will definitely be back :)"
