Fundamental problem is that the hotel does not have any air-conditioning. It was difficult to sleep in some of the hot nights. It never expected in such a category hotel.
Did not change any bedsheet for whole 4 night stay. The room was not properly clean; hair could be easily found in bathroom.
Staff service was satisfactory, as one reception staff helped us to switch a cooler room the subsequent 2 nights under separated booking.

Really great hotel in a very convenient location. Rooms are a good size and have comfy beds. My room didn’t have AC, but it had a fan and that kept me cool in the night which was very appreciated! I would stay here again if visiting London.

It was frustrated to hear the front desk saying that he could not find our booking. I told him to use my booking number to search but he refused. Obviously he mixed up the surname and last name on my passport. As it as peak hour, we have to let people queuing behind us to check in first before he could settle our case. It took him about 15 mins to get back to us and confirmed our booking. His excuse was that we spelled our name wrongly when booking and he managed to settle it for us. Come on! We double checked with Trip.com that we were using the correct name. Don’t lie to cover your own stupidness.
We were happy with the location of the hotel. However unfortunately the weather was extremely hot. There is no aircon at the hotel. We could hardly sleep with the only small fan provided in the room. We tried to ask for one more fan so that at least my wife and I can each have one fan. The front desk, this time is a lady, turned down our request.
The hotel is the worst I have ever stayed.

Pleasantly surprised, the size of the room was decent and the house keepers were quite efficient and clean. The location was great, close to underground station, with many bus access close by the hotel and not to mention, also walking distance to the center. Staff were neither helpful nor unhelpful and just mind their own business unless you had a request. The only set back I would say is the lack of air-conditioning, at the end of the day the building retained a lot of heat and you are left with a very weak fan. The interior of the room often felt hotter than outside and the opening of windows are limited to just a small gap. Great value for money and I would definitely stay again in the winter but may be not so much in the summer.

Rooms were modern and clean. Would be better if check in was quicker and easier. There was no ability to easily control the temperature (windows could be opened but with the trade off that it was noisy outside).

Very modern and clean hotel, fairly spacious room. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was of a very good quality. I asked for a quiet room - I could hear water flowing through the pipes in the wall (quite subtle) but it stopped before midnight and was fairly quiet through the night. Overall I was quite happy with my stay!

A really lovely comfortable and friendly hotel. Rooms are decorated nicely, very modern and a good size. Breakfast is delicious and continually topped up. Will definitely book again when I visit London next.
