Hotel Best Lloret Splash

I would like to thank everyone in the hotel, especially Jose from the bar and his colleagues from work, the entire cleaning team, the restaurant employees, for great food every day, I highly recommend the hotel for families with children. The only problem was with the refrigerator in the room not working and we reported but nothing was done. Thank you again for a wonderful holiday

Let me start with saying that I'm not a fussy person and as long as a place is clean, I adapt very quickly. The good sides of this hotel are definitely: The modern decor The good entertainment for the kids The many slides The vicinity to the beach The vicinity to restaurants and bars The bad sides: Rooms are not cleaned to a decent standard Lack of maintenance (little things like the toilet was coming off the wall, the shower head was broken and some lights didn't work, little jobs that can be done before the guests arrive considering it was not high season). I don't know why the bathroom didn't have a toilet brush, very weird. Towels were changed daily which is good but many times had to be swapped as the 'clean' ones had dubious stains on them. The room's floor never got swept throughout the week and it was in poor condition when we entered the room (the same toenail we found in the bathroom when we got there, was there when we left). The swimming pools are freezing cold: even the one for the little ones which is 1 foot deep is ridiculously cold. My 3yo never went in because of it and he loves swimming! I can't comment on the hotel food as I booked room only but I can say that there are many good restaurants at 5 to 10 mins walk from the hotel: our 2 favourite ones were Panxhos (Mexican food) and La dolce vita (Italian food). All in all it was a pleasant week, the weather was amazing and we had a good time but I definitely would not pay the summer prices I've seen listed as unfortunately this hotel needs some improvements considering it's a 4*. A real shame because I think the hotel is only few years old and with good maintenance could be fabulous.

Hotel was very clean and hotel staff was friendly and understand if you needed anything..food was average food but the food was the same every day.. entertainment seem to be the same all week for the kids! Pools were clean Downside was people shouting and screaming after a few beverages

I’m just home from a wonderful week at Best Lloret Splash, I would recommend it to any family. The hotel was modern and clean with friendly staff. The food was good with a very good selection for each meal and the pool bar was great for snacks, I couldn’t fault the place at all the location was great just a short walk to the beach and shops just outside the hotel. I would be happy to stay there again

Lovely, everything's close at hand. Great pools. Food was excellent. Close to town. Kids club was very good. I would recommend this for a family holiday or for a couple who didn't mind kids playing. The rooms were really well planned out and big.

Amazing hotel staff so friendly and kind food was same but it was ok. Pools are fab my little one loved the pools room was quite big balcony was massive would definitely be back fab hotel the pool bar was good food in the food bar was ok entertainment was ok bingo was fun

Staying here at the minute. Absolutely nightmare trying to get luggage up to room. Up a hill and total unsuitable for anyone with disabilities. Food is very poor went for first dinner tonight and food was cold. Soup was horrible cold and greasy. Selection of drink at bar very poor. Wont be back .The balcony is so tiny and we are overlooking a car park. Definitely not 4 star would give it a 2.

The staff are all so friendly. This was our 3rd year in a row and we'll be back next year too! We didn't go all inclusive the 1st year and did say trips etc. The best days we had that year was when we didn't leave the hotel so for the last two years we went all inclusive and didn't leave the hotel. Absolute bliss! Saved us a fortune compared to the first year too. Our son has autism and loves the place. With all the waterslides, the little soft play area, pool tables and kids entertainment on an evening he loves it and generally, if he's happy, we're all happy. As I said at the start though, it's the staff that make it, from the reception, to the restaurant, pool side bar, life guards, well all the staff, they are all so friendly and make us feel so welcome every year! The hotel is lovely. Clean, good selection of food at dinner. Breakfast was the same each day but not bad. Coffee machins, juices, pancakes bacon eggs bread cheeses, meats and cereals. Rooms decent size. Pool and slides are fab however, it’s quite slippy round those areas lots of kids and adults fell. It definitely needs more grip mats around. Good selection in the bar area of hot food, drinks and ice cream. The evening entertainment is pretty naff. The hotel is up high so when you walk down to beach and tourist shops be prepared for the walk back! Staff are nice enough. Mornings are pretty civilised with loads of seats available without having to be up early to reserve!
