We spent three nights at the Abigail Inn in Lexington, Virginia. The proprietors are most welcoming and of course, the inn is their own home. Their three young daughters are a delightful addition to the family setting. The room was spotless, with a most comfortable bed and period furnishings. The location makes for easy access for walking to the downtown area. The only drawback was the squeeky floors, not unexpected in a historic house.

We had a lovely two-night stay at this beautiful Inn. The couple that run it were so friendly and helpful and we enjoyed meeting the whole family and felt very much at home. We stayed in the Washington room which is very spacious with a king size bed and large bathroom. It was very clean and well appointed and was a very welcome retreat. Breakfasts were cooked to order and delicious, especially the croissant sandwiches. The Inn is close enough to walk into downtown Lexington but we drove because of the excessive heat while we were there. You can’t go wrong in choosing the Abigail Inn.

Our accomodations were beautiful, comfortable and in a lovely location. The breakfasts were exceptional. The biggest surprise was that our hosts had 5 star international hospitality experience! So the Abigail Inn exudes their passion for the Art of Hospitality! They were kind, hospitable and professional. It was easy to relax and feel right at home. We enjoyed Lexington, but if we are within an hour or so, we will go just to stay at the Abigail Inn!

What a lovely place to stay! The rooms were magnificent, and the bed really comfy! The owners were extremely friendly and professional. Will be staying here again soon!! Highly recommend over any hotel in the area!! That the host went to VMI and very knowledgeable about area is a bonus!!

The Inn is exactly as pictured beautiful and clean. The innkeepers are lovely and very communicative with you making sure they are present for your arrival. Thierry made sure all our needs were met and scheduled our breakfast for the next day at a time convenient for us. Nice location walking distance to town for dinner. Also a brewery close by with great pizza and salad as well as many other restaurant options available. Short stay for us just passing thru to Florida. Definitely make time for the generous breakfast, it is exceptional and made fresh just for you!

Excellent hosts met us promptly and checked us in (although we arrived early) and allowed us to take our key to return later. Washington room was immaculately clean, bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious! It's a gorgeous historic home with tons of history. We would definitely return to the Abigail.

Friendly innkeepers make all the difference and the innkeepers here are special. Great recommendations for food and sightseeing. The breakfast was outstanding!! Wonderful experience. This was a spontaneous choice and it will always be a special memory! Keep up the amazing work!

The B&B host is thoughtful and attentive. The Inn and room are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic with great coffee. Close to downtown Lexington and W&L. Only knock would be bathroom old and small in need of updating. But, it was very clean. Will visit again for sure and so should you!

The Inn is beautiful, comfortable, cozy, with an outside seating area with fire pit. The hosts could not have been more accommodating and welcoming and so attentive. The choice of breakfast foods was a great surprise and the food presentation was outstanding and the food delicious. We highly recommend the Inn to travelers.
