"The room with a balcony and window overlooking the courtyard was small but very appealing. The location is a bit outside the center, but there are good transport links. We arrived by car, but unfortunately, contrary to the website, there was no parking on the street. Thankfully, we were able to find a spot for an extra €5.00 in a separate, gated lot about 400 meters away. We gladly accepted this offer. Without it, we really wouldn't have known where to park our car. This should be clearly stated on the hotel's website. Otherwise, everything was fine. We would gladly stay again."

"The stay was unfortunately a complete disaster. The floor in the room was badly stained and looked unhygienic – completely unacceptable for a hotel. But it got even worse: during the night, part of the ceiling collapsed! This could have been extremely dangerous. I immediately reported the incident to reception, but received neither an apology nor any suggestion of a solution. Even after my written complaint, I still haven't received any response. No customer service, no sense of responsibility. A hotel that doesn't address such issues is absolutely not recommended. I will definitely not be returning – and I can only advise everyone to do their research beforehand."

"We are lucky to be moved to Hyperion instead, also under the H hotel group. I cant comment on H2 thus. Hyperion hotel is awesome by the way. And for the price is totally worth it. It has every aspect of a 5 star but the rate is so reasonable. The room is clean, fit with many amentities and breakfast spread is terrific! I will definitely top up a bit more in my next visit to Germany to stay in Hyperion instead"

"The room was relatively cheap and spacious, BUT it has nothing near the hotel! Far from train station, no affordable restaurants nearby, no convenience stores/supermarkets- if you want to eat something at reasonable prices, you need to walk for an hour. When you booked the hotel, it says free Wifi next to the room photo, but the room has no Wifi - it is only available at the lobby. There is no door sign for you to put “do not disturb” or “no cleaning needed” so every morning the cleaner just knocks on your door until they woke you up."
