The Delaware Hotel

The hotel was under renovation and construction materials were in the lobby and on each hotel floor. No food was available due to construction, but coffee was served in the lobby. The room was comfortable - bed and linens good, towels rough but adequate. Great shower. White noise generator in the room was a thoughtful touch.

The person who checked us in (Yasmin/Jasmin) was FANTASTIC! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. She was awesome!

How does this place onlt have 2 stars?!? I absolutely loved it. This hotel had such character! They've done an amazing job keeping the historical charm while making some mondern conveniences. I loved the bathroom, the white noise machine and the dimmable lights. I wanted to book the king but they were sold out. I was still happy with the queen but it is a bit small. And the downstairs was a very speakeasy cool scene. Still a lot of old fashioned vibes with updated touches. I will be talking about this place for some time!

This hotel is very good, historic but updated. Great food at their restaurant, lovely rooms friendly staff. Love Leadville, and you will too.

I liked the historical aspects of Leadville and of the Delaware Hotel. I can appreciate the new owners have put much into renovations, but it still needs SO much work. The floors, walls, doors, structural parts of the building are buildging, drooping, slanted, etc. My partner and I actually slid from the top of the bed all nights to where our feet were hanging off the bottom because of how unlevel the floor was. That being said, there truly is a quaintness and charm of many other aspects of the buidling.The food in the Calloway Restaurant was delicious! The lobby was open and welcoming for a nightcap.There are no elevators and we stayed on the top floor, so I appreciated getting a workout in before I went snowshoeing the next day!! It was okay to stay in once but I would rent an Air BnB next time or make other accomodations.

This was a great historic hotel snd they have done a great job on up grades and are continuing to improve.

This is an old hotel, so if your expectations are for a modern hotel, this may not be a good choice for you. There isn't an elevator which was no big deal. I'm guessing the staff would assist with luggage if needed. The room was a king deluxe - it was spacious but the bathroom was a bit dated, again, it's an old hotel. Loved the area around the hotel - very walkable and some good restaurants and bars nearby.

This hotel was wonderful! So unique and clean. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant that is connected was delicious! And my kids throughly enjoyed the free popcorn. We will definitely be staying again!

This is one of my favorite hotels. The rooms are delightful if you love historic old hotels. The staff is very helpful and the e rooms nice and clean.
