Hotel dekat Museum Peringatan MH de Young, San Francisco

Dally, petugas resepsionis, sangat TIDAK SOPAN!!! Kami tiba di lobi dan hanya ada satu petugas resepsionis (Dally) yang sedang melayani dua atau tiga tamu lainnya. Kemudian saya melihat kios check-in online dan saya memilih untuk menggunakannya demi kenyamanan. Jadi saya memasukkan informasi saya dan mesin tersebut mengkonfirmasi reservasi saya dan meminta saya untuk membayar biaya resor dan deposit keamanan yang belum saya bayar. Saya memasukkan kartu saya, lalu pria dari resepsionis itu dengan lantang berkata, ”Jangan gunakan itu, nanti akan dikenakan biaya ganda.” Jadi saya segera mencabut kartu saya, tetapi transaksi sudah diproses, jadi saya tidak punya pilihan selain menyelesaikan transaksi dan mengambil kartu kunci kami. Kemudian dia terus berkata, ”Saya tidak bisa membantu Anda sekarang, tidak bisa membantu Anda sekarang,” dengan nada TIDAK SOPAN, dan dia juga menghampiri saya dan berkata, ”Anda sendiri yang melakukannya dan tidak bisa membantu Anda sekarang...” Saya hampir marah karena sikapnya yang tidak sopan terhadap saya. Kemudian Bryan datang, dia sangat ramah, membantu kami, menjelaskan biaya kepada kami, dan memastikan bahwa TIDAK ADA BIAYA GANDA. Dia juga menyebutkan nama rekannya yang kurang ajar, Dallie atau Dally. Mohon perhatikan AXIOM karena karyawan ini tidak tahu apa yang dia katakan dengan sikap kasarnya terhadap saya… Sebagai lulusan bidang perhotelan, dia seharusnya memperlakukan tamu dengan empati dan menawarkan jasanya karena itu adalah pekerjaannya. Dan dia bisa menjelaskannya dengan benar dan mengatakan maaf, itu di luar wewenangnya dan meminta bantuan manajernya. Juga, ketika kami check-out pada tanggal 13 Oktober sekitar pukul 7 pagi, ada resepsionis yang tampak lesu. Kami menyapanya dan saya bertanya tentang proses check-out. Dia hanya menunjuk tempat pengembalian kunci dan bersikap seolah-olah berkata ”JANGAN GANGGU SAYA” *****tara kami menunggu di lobi bersama pasangan saya. Dia dengan keras berkata, ”Hei, apakah Anda tamu di sini?!” Dengan nada merendahkan, dia menganggap pasangan saya sebagai orang luar… Kami baru saja menyapanya 5 menit yang lalu, betapa sombongnya dia sampai tidak mengingat pasangan saya… Terlepas dari itu, kedua wanita di meja resepsionis, TAYLOR dan TATIANA, ramah dan hangat, tidak seperti kedua staf lainnya.

Our stay at Nob Hill Hotel was unexpectedly great. Although it’s a little far from Union Square, the walk was very tolerable. What really stood out was the free unlimited water and coffee available 24/7, which was a huge plus. The hotel also has a very unique lift and a charming, distinctive style that added character to our stay. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a comfortable experience. We would also like to commend the helpfulness of Emmanuel, who assisted us during our stay. He is very kind and accommodating, and his warm service truly made our experience even better. We will definitely come back and even cancelled our other hotel booking so we can return again after our visit here in Hollywood.

All of the staff seemed really nice. From the moment we arrived and had a friendly greeting from the valet parking worker, to the ladies that we interacted with in reception. The room was nothing special, but by that I mean it had no outstanding features, or any distinguishable traits that would separate it from other hotels The concierge was friendly and helpful, and was very useful in helping us to plan our activities. And the hotel is in a good location to get to the pier or do the 'big bus' tour. But here's the downside. The gym is small, had no steriliser, or wipes, even though one of the rules stated in the gym is to wipe down the equipment after use. And the overall impression of the gym is that it could do with a really good clean from top to bottom. Added to that there's the washing machine and tumble dryer located in the gym. Yes that's right, in the actual gym. Now we were very happy when we read about the hotel having washing machine facilities, but we were slightly surprised at it's location. Another thing was the air con. We stayed in September and although the weather for the season was just starting to cool down after the summer, it was still fairly warm. The air con looked as if it had been fitted in the seventies and made a sound as if it had been running non stop ever since then. It was so noisy that we had to turn it off completely at night time and at different times during the day. On a final point we received news regarding the death of my partner's daughter, which meant that we had to cut our whole vacation short including this leg of the trip. We informed the front desk that we would be checking out one day early. We were not expecting a refund, for that day, but after being told by the member of staff that the 30 dollar a night 'destination fee' would be waived for the night that we were not going to be there, we later found out that this fee had still been added to the final bill. We still have no idea what a 'destination fee' is, but to be charged it when we weren't even at the hotel was extra galling. And what was also strange was the fact they didn't even ask why it was that we had decided to cut our stay short? Would you not be interested to know whether something was wrong with your customers stay, and to know why they had cut their visit short?? A bit of a poor end to a otherwise 'ok' stay at the hotel.

I had booked a single deluxe room; it was very spacious and I loved how there was hanging space and plenty of drawers. I was there for a week and so it was nice to be able to properly unpack and have my things organised. The room would be comfortable even for two people. The room did not have air conditioning but had a ceiling fan which I actually prefer to aircon; it was July yet the room never became too hot. The window was able to open and there was a screen mesh to prevent bugs entering. I asked for and got a kettle for the room to heat my own water. Stable free Wifi. There was a shared bathroom thus is was appreciated that was a sink in the bedroom (had toiletries, flannels and towels provided). The shared toilet and shower facilities were always clean and even though I was there a week there was never a time that I had to wait/they were occupied when I wanted to use them. The shower room had a curtain separating the wet and dry areas and there was plenty of hooks to hand items. Everywhere was always clean. It was very quiet except for sometimes being some noise from outside. There is a small basic kitchen area if you want to prepare some simple dishes ( I never used it), and a laundry where a wash and dry is very reasonably priced. The hotel is in a very good location and I found it ideal for exploring San Francisco. Powell street BRT is a direct line to the train station, there is a streetcar (F) which goes directly to the piers, and a bus (7) which goes along Fell Street to Golden Gate park and if you went to the end of the line it goes to the other end of Golden Gate Park/coast/beach. I walked to other areas. It is ideal if you plan to go to any concerts, and the International Art Museum of America (free entry) is only a couple of mins walk. There are many eating places in the surrounding streets including a food court with reasonably priced food – included an Ikea restaurant where hotdogs are one dollar. The hotel felt safe and secure. The front door is always locked and there is a key card to enter the hotel and the rooms. I appreciated that not once did the key card become desensitised. The hotel is in the Mission District and thus the area does have some homeless people around; you would not notice much during the day, though many more during the evening. I am a female travelling solo and I never had any problems with any people in the area and never felt unsafe. Evening during the evening the streets are so busy that you don’t feel vulnerable as there are so many people around. I could see from my bedroom window that through the night large crowds would congregate at the corner opposite the hotel, sometimes could be noisy, and they made lots of rubbish, however, everything was cleaned up and by the next morning there was no trace of it…that is a sign that the area is taken care of. Staff always friendly and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would have no hesitation in staying again. There was no false advertising , and the facilities were what I expected based on the description, in fact, when considering the reviews, the hotel was better than I was expecting. If people want comfortable, clean basic accommodation you can’t go wrong with this.

Lokasi bagus, harga luar biasa, pelayanan buruk. Resepsionis (pria India dari Gujarat) sangat kasar dan tidak sopan. Dia seharusnya dipecat. Saya menginap di sini beberapa hari, lalu tiba-tiba dia bilang tidak akan mengizinkan saya menginap lagi. Dia tidak memberikan penjelasan apa pun, lalu mulai meninggikan suaranya dan mengancam akan memanggil polisi. Hostelnya sendiri lumayan, tetapi resepsionis India yang pemarah ini membuat saya menyesal pernah memesan kamar di sana. Dia seharusnya dipecat dan tidak pernah diberi pekerjaan yang mengharuskan saya berinteraksi dengan orang lain.
