GGayatri GallowayBang in the heart of not just the charming old centre but right on the block where the street partying takes place till the early mornings of the weekends. But no noise pollution due to the small boutique hotel being on the (very high!) fourth floor of the old building that has its entrance in the courtyard off the street.
We traveled with our two sons (17 and 10) and it worked but wouldn’t stay with our younger daughters there due to the unconventionality of the accommodation:
No public areas or services, just straight up rooms (only six of them all in the one corridor off the reception) which are fitted in modern and marbled design.
Room no 3 is spacious with a nice four poster bed, no 1 is less so but both still had room for a bidet in the all tiled bathrooms which has an LED light feature in the shower! Both also have a French balcony: from room 3 you can view the Vesuvius Mountain. Theres a price listed minibar and my husband really liked the mattress
Reception is not 24h but communication was very good and personal through WhatsApp.
I was looking forward to the roof terrace but it was bare and unused serving merely as a panorama lookout point. Not to worry, the most important thing for us was that the hotel was clean and had some form of luxury for the night we stayed in Napoli!

RRip RipWe booked feeling a little nervous as we read the various reviews but also hesitated with little experience of a B&B Guest house.
There seemed very few choices in Naples ( Chiaia district) a prime , safer area ; to have a suite with some kitchenette and a very reasonable price.
We were warmly welcomed to our studio suite, spacious , well organised with a lot of thought in the location of design of fixtures and furniture; seating to take breakfast, working desk and or relax on the sofa.
Brightly lit room with big “can open” sound proof windows or option to use the air conditioning system . Views of the nearby residential apartments actually helped us feel at home ( even though we were not able to enjoy the Naples sea view)
Bed, mattress , linen and pillows were fine ( for those who require more specific finer finishes should not go to a Guest house)
Bathroom was practical and had all that one needed, with hand held shower and rain shower installed.
Kitchenette had electric stove , coffee maker, kettle , Fridge and utensils. Again sufficient for a 4 night stay.
Any longer an oven or toaster would have been nice to heat up bread.
The highlight worth mentioning, as most reviews have , is Massimo who helped us with recommendations, guided us with a local map, booked day tour to Pompeii, our taxi and so much more..
Honestly, for those of us who have been lucky to stay in 5 star hotels will know that you don’t always get this type of discreet professional reliable hospitality that Massimo has shown us.
If you don’t mind staying at a guest house which may sound daunting , or that the entrance of the building may be slightly off the side street but having read this review will reassure you that the 24 hours security guards and the gated premises made it feel like a home away from home.

PPengguna AnonimKami memesan kamar dengan pemandangan laut, sungguh luar biasa. Matahari pagi bersinar ke dalam ruangan setiap pagi, Kastil Ovo ada di depan kita, dan balkon memiliki pemandangan tak berujung. Hotelnya cukup memuaskan, dan restoran sarapannya memiliki pemandangan laut dua sisi.
Sangat mudah untuk pergi ke berbagai tempat wisata dari sini, karena taksi tersedia tepat di luar pintu; ada banyak pilihan tempat makan dan kedai kopi di dekatnya.
Pelayanan di meja depan sangat ramah, terutama Rossella, yang sangat baik, berbicara bahasa Inggris dengan baik, dan membantu saya mencari tahu rute ke Pompeii dengan transportasi umum dan jadwal kereta. Dia luar biasa!
Saya sangat merekomendasikan hotel ini.

TTravel_with_soo_yanI'm impressed by the cleanliness of this hostel, which is way cleaner and prettier than other hostels that I've stayed before. The room even has a private bathroom and surprisingly also a little balcony, very neat and well decorated!
I'm also surprised to see there is a shared kitchen (which is also very clean and well managed) which serves breakfast! Truly amazing experience staying here knowing great people across the world!

TTamuI had a short overnight stay so the location is ideal about 400m walking from the main train station. Although a good location it is not a good area at night, a lot of homeless people but there are also some nice restaurants on Garabaldi Square and good coffee shops nearby for pastries and coffee for breakfast. The Hotel reception is on the 2nd floor of the building, big staircase and as others say no lift. Not good for older people or if you have big luggage to carry. The Checkin was fine, the man explained the basics and took me to my room. The cleanliness was perfect, so clean, plenty of fresh white towels, and bathroom was spotless, no problem there. He also gave me the remote control for the air conditioning and that also worked really great so you could sleep well. Bed was fine, seemed clean also, as someone said Quirky decoration. And surprisingly quiet. So if you aren’t after a fancy hotel room it’s fine. Only Basic liquid soap amenity supplied. The Front door is locked at 8 pm, and the hotel rooms access, they give you a keys to access, so it seems quite safe, closing early in that area is probably a good thing . Easy to walk to the Old Town and all the sights.

MMK LohWalk using the main street is easier. Just next to Hotel Colombo which is easier to identify than the hotel Casablanca sign (which shows a logo you might not be able to recognise).
Good breakfast variety.
