AAnnKooGood location for connection to airport or train station Keleti.The central market and the Liberty bridge is only 3 minutes walk away. Very convenient to explore Budapest with the tranport pass. Lots of eateries nearby. Room is very clean and tidy and the staffs are all polite ànd easily approachable. We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay with the delicious breakfast.

TTamuSemuanya sempurna. Kamar ganda saya luas, bersih, terang, dan nyaman, layaknya hotel mewah. Satu-satunya yang kurang adalah jembatan mini. Jika Anda membutuhkan kulkas, tersedia dapur, juga bersih dan lengkap (kopi dan teh tersedia). Sarapan prasmanannya luar biasa. Saya agak terganggu oleh kebisingan dari restoran di bawah jendela saya sebelum menyadari jendelanya sedikit terbuka; setelah ditutup, tidak ada suara apa pun.

For anyone looking to immerse themselves in the historical heart of the city, this hotel is a fantastic choice. Being just minutes away from both the majestic Buda Castle and the picturesque Fisherman’s Bastion was a huge plus. I particularly appreciated the convenience for early risers – those who wish to view the stunning sunrise and enjoy the area before the crowds arrive (potentially with free entrance before official opening hours) will find this hotel incredibly convenient, as it's just a short stroll away. Furthermore, the hotel's location also allows for a pleasant walk to the viewing area across the river from the Parliament building. Seeing the illuminated Parliament at night from the opposite bank was a memorable experience, and it was easily accessible on foot from the hotel. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, providing a welcome retreat after a day of exploring. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. However, there was one notable downside: the soundproofing could be improved. I occasionally heard noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which sometimes disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Overall: Despite the minor issue with soundproofing, I would still highly recommend the Carlton Hotel Buda Castle, especially for travelers who prioritize location above all else. Its proximity to key attractions like Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion, along with the easy access to sunrise views and the Parliament panorama, makes it a truly convenient base for exploring the best of Buda. If you're a light sleeper, bringing earplugs might be a good idea, but the unbeatable location truly makes this hotel a strong contender for your Budapest stay.

TTamuThe location is good . Near the METRO . The building is very old , the lift was horrendous, it keeps breaking . The luggage has to be carry up and down physically . The hotel is on the 3rd floor . One good point is they provide a bottle of wine .
