TTamuWe had a lovely stay at this hotel — the location is excellent, just steps away from the Maths Bridge and a punting station, making it perfect for exploring Cambridge. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout, and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety. We also had a nice view from the balcony, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely stay again!

TTamuVery clean amenities and in close proximity to the train station. Breakfast can be purchased at a reasonable price and there is also a kitchen available if you want to make your own food. As for drawbacks, I’d say the bunk beds (especially the upper bunk) tend to creak a fair bit, and there was no water for several hours in the morning, making it very inconvenient to go to the bathroom or wash up. The bedside lamps are also too bright. Perhaps dim yellow ones would be better. All being said, it was still a nice stay.

TTamuThe Gonville Hotel is gorgeous. Great staff, beautiful boutique hotel. Bar area is lovely and so is the restaurant. Added bonus was a complimentary tour in their Bentley (book in advance). Would highly recommend this hotel.

TTamuMenikmati fasilitas di hotel dan sarapan. Tidak suka harus membayar parkir dan lokasinya sangat buruk, pada hari Minggu ada kereta setiap jam atau bus setiap 20-30 menit menuju pusat Cambridge. Karena sudah harus membayar untuk parkir (dan ini adalah tempat parkir stasiun jadi tidak murah) Anda harus membayar lebih banyak lagi untuk masuk ke Cambridge. Kecewa karena mereka tidak memiliki sesuatu yang memungkinkan orang parkir gratis jika menginap di hotel mengingat lokasinya sangat buruk dan tidak banyak apa pun di sekitar Anda. Saya juga terkejut bar hotel tidak menerima AMEX (atau uang tunai).

TTamuTravelodge wouldn’t have been a bad memory except for TRIP that made it a horrible one for me , I definitely sure this would be my last dealing with them. Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) . I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip. 😞

NNBWDespite the slightly tired looking exterior, this is an excellent choice if you want a hotel in Cambridge, with parking, and walking distance to the city centre. Our room was on the ground floor but facing the rear and was very peaceful. The room is quite small but everything worked, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the shower water pressure was fantastic. Breakfast, included in our package, was very very good. Plenty of choice and the cooked food was served on piping hot plates. Best of all, Jackie and Jan, the two wonderful ladies who served us. Actually they did more than serve, they made our breakfast memorable and warm. I hope these two ladies are well regarded by the hotel management, as we really want to return based upon their personal and very welcoming characters. Lovely, lovely ladies. In case you didn’t realise, we thoroughly recommend this hotel.

KKrisvenThe room was spacious, beds comfortable and a good shower. Good number of food options in the welcome service. Staff courteous. Breakfast was good. The downside was the cleaning...dusty carpet, lamp shades, fan and a room full of crane flies on our arrival.
