"First, this property is one of the most beautiful in the area. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Whether you spoke French, Portuguese, or English, someone was always available to help, making communication easy for everyone. For the price, the room was exceptionally spacious, featuring a kitchen, two balconies, and, most importantly, it was spotless! The breakfast buffet was another highlight you can enjoy as much as you’d like, making it an excellent value. Overall, this property exceeded my expectations in every way. I would absolutely recommend it and give it a 10/10!"

"The hotel is located in a small town, which fits the feeling of a village (not a derogatory word). You must drive here (there is no public transportation). The hotel is very quiet and feels very safe. The room is very large and fully equipped with a washing machine, a full set of kitchenware, a refrigerator, a sofa, a dining table, and a large balcony with a dining table where you can sit outdoors and watch the sunset and drink and eat, which is very comfortable. The hotel service staff is warm and polite. We arrived at about 12:30 noon. According to the previous hotel feedback, its policy is to check in at 4 pm, but the uncle at the front desk called and asked, saying that the room has been cleaned up and can be checked in for us. It is really good, otherwise we can only put down our luggage and go out. The hotel is not far from several attractions. It takes about ten minutes to drive there. The hotel is also about 10 minutes to drive to several large supermarkets in the town. Staying here is really the best choice for vacation. The key is high cost performance."

"There is no doubt the location of this hotel is stunning, it is a 20 minute walk to the nearest supermarket or restaurant though. The pool area is superb - hard to beat. Cleanliness is top notch. The hotel itself is a bit tired and out of date compared to others we have visited. For 4* I would expect tea and coffee making facilities in room, stocked mini-bar, a safe with lock, bath robes, decent bath towels and a toiletries regularly replenished. Now to food - this hardly reached acceptable. Breakfasts fruit often on the turn with the fizzy taste, eggs hard boiled, congealed scrambled and rubber fried eggs. Cereal choice poor. Good choice of pastries, breads and jams though, although sometimes a little stale. Coffee wet and warm! Hot water for tea warm. Lunches OK but very basic and served like a school dinner. Evening meal - extremely poor only managed one night thank goodness we were not on half board. This possibly makes the distance to a supermarket and restaurant more important. I would recommend if you plan to stay here hire a car! Great restaurants in Ferragudo and Carveiro. Would I stay again, I loved the break, if breakfasts were improved possibly."

Hotel Rural Brícia du Mar

"Currently having a five day stay here. Hotel is clean and peaceful. Small manned reception reasonable if limited breakfast and a pool bar and nighttime restaurant. The latter is very nice. Rooms basic. Comfortable beds but the room layout was awful. Kitchen area to the front bed crammed into an enclosed space at the back with a bathroom literally on top of one side of the bed. Made it impossible to go to the bathroom without waking partner up. We were in an eco studio which was on a low level st the back of the hotel. All in all hotel did its job and we had no complaints"
