"We extended my stay for another night. Overall, the resort is nice. One thing worth mentioning is that air conditioning in the apartment is very noisy, probably due to its age. We had to turn the air conditioning off during night. The ventilation fan in bathrooms are also very noisy."

"Brilliant vilas! Spacious and clean, they are very well equipped and the kitchens had everything we needed including a Nespresso machine. The private pool was great and there was a nice and large outside table as well as inside table, plus pool lounges. You do need a car, as otherwise it would be hard to get around, but parking on site which is great. A number of close supermarkets so we were easily about to get everything we need and have a much more cost effective and convenient trip, rather than have to pay to eat out for breakfast, coffee etc. We still went out for some meals and there are a lot of local options. Local beaches are quite small so we drove to some of the larger beaches about 30 mins away. Only downside is the sound does rather echo out. We had a group next to us who played a lot of music outside, so that was quite annoying, but it wasn’t late at night and it is quiet inside if you close the door."

"The hotel, is located in a quiet area near two beautiful beaches. The two bed apartment our family of five stayed in was huge, with an enormous balcony, we had a view of the pool and side view of the sea. The cleaning staff came every other day to top up towels ect. The restaurant food was adequate to good , the catering/waiting staff all worked really hard and we're polite and welcoming. We were half board which includes morning and some evening drinks which we thought was excellent. The sweet spot did some lovely food and was reasonably priced, there was some live music on here a couple of nights ( it's quite loud but didn't bother us). There is no children's entertainment this time of year so you would need to decide if this environment suits you if you have young children. The road train into town was fun and gives you a change of scenery. We visited zoomarine and the benagil caves ( via boat from the local beach) both trips were good fun . There were some restaurants within walking distance ( unfortunately we didn't get the chance to try these). We would love to return one day and perhaps hire a car to explore more of the Algarve . If you can cope with steep hills, stairs ( no lift ) enjoy pool and beach days and are willing to travel out of the area to explore, this hotel ticks a lot of boxes for providing a balanced holiday."

"We booked this place because it is centrally located, close to many beaches, hiking trails, and not too far from Lagos. We had accommodation with two air-conditioned bedrooms (two beds for four adults). The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Our favorite part was the outdoor spaces and the owners. They work tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect and spotless 100% of the time. The outdoor atmosphere is truly unmatched. The breakfast is also carefully prepared. You can really feel the owners put their heart into it. I definitely recommend this place. As for parking, you can pay to secure a spot in the private lot, but we easily found parking nearby without any issues. We stayed for 5 nights and could have stayed even longer without hesitation"

"Fantastic small boutique hotel just five minutes walk from the beach. Really relaxed vibe, extremely peaceful, and great service. Also, breakfast is excellent, and the pool very picturesque and refreshing in the Algarve heat - never was unable to get a sunbed."

Hotel Rural Brícia du Mar

"Rural Hotel Bricia du Mar was absolutely lovely and located in a quiet residential area. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained everywhere. Our room was large with a very well-equipped kitchen area, big bathroom with a super shower and a spacious terrace with table and chairs. The hotel restaurant served absolutely delicious food. All the staff we came across, we're helpful and friendly. Great outdoor pool. We could walk to the cliff-top path in 10 minutes and this led down to Praia do Pintadinho, Praia do Mohle and Praia Grande. We used Ubers to travel further afield and charges were very reasonable. There are no supermarkets nearby, so again used an Uber to travel to the Continente about 10 minutes drive away. The storks nesting nearby were worth the trip alone."
