This is a lovely hotel and spa with excellent service, food and excursions. The spa is great with two pools (one heated perfectly with inside and outside sections) and is quite relaxing after a long hike. Every single staff person we encountered was fantastic and the food and wine was delicious. The hotel really went out of their way to make sure we were well fed upon leaving mid-day as they packed up a boxed lunch for us to take on our way. (Several of the other all-inclusive hotels we stayed at had that opportunity when we left mid-day but had not offered or would do so as part of the package even when asked - (ahem - the Singular Patagonia and Explorer Atacama)). The rooms and grounds were beautiful. The excursions terrific. We loved the knowledgeable and friendly guides. Would highly recommend.

A very welcoming place where the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and service were excellent. Plenty of choice at all meals.

Undoubtedly, the great strength of this property is its location which provides access to the Futangue Park with its different habitats and trails of different lengths and level of difficulty. The trails have been well planned and are well maintained. This part of our stay, we enjoyed immensely – a trip highlight. A vehicle is needed to optimise enjoyment of the park, with a 4X4 being far preferable. However, we did not expect to be +/-the only couple amidst a full house of families with very young children. This meant that the dining experience was far from that which we had expected. Firstly, the standard of meals (we were on an all-inclusive basis) was very variable, with options not always available (presumably because of the early dining by families). We did not appreciate having to sacrifice a 3 course a la carte menu for a very mediocre BBQ which became a free for all with rampaging noisy children ruining a precious evening. One should also be aware that even under an all-inclusive basis, every single item (even water) had to be signed for and service was duly added. The superior rooms were comfortable, though our AC was not working well for 3/4 days and we lacked sufficient hot water. The reception we received on arrival was abyssmal, though some Individual staff were subsequently helpful. As far as our experience is concerned, we would caution those wishing to enjoy a peaceful stay, immersed in nature - something which appears well advertised, but is not followed through as a priority interest.

We spent two nights in a suite at Futangue. The hotel, restaurant, and spa/pool facilities are top notch. The only caveat is that you absolutely need a 4x4 to access the best hikes in the park. We did not have a vehicle and they do not rent 4x4s so the front desk (not at the hotel but at the store/cafeteria in front of the hotel about a ten minute walk away, also a little odd) called us a taxi who took us. But it took the lovely woman at the store/cafeteria approximately 30 minutes to locate us a taxi to take us and then it took another 30 minutes for him to arrive and then another 30 minutes to arrive at our destination. This was a bit stressful to say the least. Once we had all of this situated we had the most wonderful day and coming back to the hotel and using their pool and then having dinner next to their fireplace are memories I will never forget.

Highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Excellent service, beautiful location and delicious food. The views from the spa were spectacular. Best to travel in a 4x4 to access all the hiking trails. A relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable get away.

An absolutely gorgeous setting! Staff goes above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience. Rooms are elegant and rustic at the same time. Food was delicious and varied. Lots of things to do in the area. The Spa services were very good. We finished every afternoon in the sauna and pool to recover from our daily activities. I would highly recommend Futangue Hotel and Spa

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The people who work there want nothing more than to make your stay extra special It is in a gorgeous setting and the trails you have access to are wonderful - a great variety for all levels of hiking amibition and ability.

Futangue was very beautiful and remote. It was great to be on the trails and feel like we had the park to ourselves. The food was excellent and the staff was attentive. They had bikes available to rent. It was helpful to have a 4x4 car to be able to access the trails at our own time and pace.

I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE. My friend and I went in October 2023 as part of a trip around Chile, which also included Santiago, Atacama and Matetic Vineyards. Every stop on our trip was special, but Parque Futangue was far and away our favorite hotel and region that we visited. I'm so so grateful to the entire staff and all the guides for making our stay so much fun (Felipe, Jaaz, Macarena, Luis, everyone!). Futangue is a bit off the beaten path, and it feels like a hidden gem, where you arrive and instantly feel at home, relaxed and energized. The food is wonderful, the spa is super clean and relaxing, the common spaces are beyond tasteful and homey, the waiters are so so lovely, and the grounds are breathtaking, even in the rain (and we had a LOT of rain). Don't miss the excursions--we did a fantastic 8 mile hike around the lake, visited with a local Mapuche man who brings people to his land to learn about indigenous culture and sustainable living, and went fly fishing with Luis. I have been telling everyone I know that they cannot go to Chile without visiting Lago Ranco and Futangue! I felt so recharged and healthy after a few days of relaxing, exploring nature, reading by the fire in the common room, trying out the delicious inventions of the fantastic bartender...I'm so grateful that this wonderful place exists and that the owners and folks who work there are so committed to taking care of it and sharing it with visitors.

This hotel is set in extraordinary countryside surrounded by pastures hills close to a river and a lake. It seemed quite Scandinavian to us in build. The room was a decent size and reasonably equipped. Restaurant and staff good although a limited menu.

A destination worth visiting. Wonderful staff, beautiful lodgings and incredible food made for the perfect visit. We wish we stayed longer. I am surprised Parque Futangue is not better represented in Chile's general tourism marketing, as it should be...

my wife and i stayed here feb for 2 nights. a little hard to find when driving from the north. lodge is modern and clean. did not have any issues with noise. breakfast and dinners were great. we took the 4hour hike to top of cerro mayo, wonderful hike with tomas. the road to the trailhead is very bumpy, but the trail is excellent . also did the kayak trip on the same day. very remote so you have to eat at the lodge, but meals were excellent. would definitely return. we rented a car at temuco airport and spent 3 days in pucon, 2 in futangue resort and 2 nights puerto varas. great trip.

A lovely eco lodge with all that you could want for a 4 night break. Good food and lodging and wonderful guides to help you make the best of the beautiful setting. If you are interested in nature, and wildlife with the ability to learn from the expert guides this is the place for you. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with good bathrooms. The bar and restaurant is very relaxed and well designed.

A tranquil and stylish hotel in a very special location. We loved the food, the wine, the spa, and walking in the countryside! The staff are fabulous. We would certainly recommend this hotel. The distance to Valdivia airport is longer than expected, and Osorno is a better bet.
