Résidence Odalys Archipel

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room was a good size for two people (I think we were in the smallest room), good sized bed, small kitchen (with microwave, fridge, hob and dishwasher) and bathroom. Nice to be able to make a quick meal and store fresh food. We used the pool quite a lot and it was always quiet (we visited in early June). Sometimes we were the only ones there. Pool is a good temperature and nice sun loungers to sit out. Only downside is it is very close to some of the rooms so you can hear people talking inside/on their balconies. Staff were nice. Really good location, you do have to walk around 15 mins to the main port area of La Rochelle but we liked the walk and the area seemed nice and safe as far as we could see. A small supermarket, bakery and food places nearby. Car parking very secure and simple to use. The downsides would be there did not seem to be aircon, the road was a bit noisy, although the road when we had the window open (which was needed as no aircon). Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.

Nice appart-hotel. Rooms are Clean and practical. Er Just wished for a larger table for Breakfest or to play some Games. Location was great, Just 5 minutes Walk to harbour, Aquarium, super Market and Restaurants. The description on ******* was wrong about the service. If you stay longer than 6 nichts, No towels are provided and No room service. However the nice service personel have been accomodating and gave us towels for free

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the lack of aircon (it was very warm and humid when we visited) but it's very hard to find a hotel with air con + pool in La Rochelle and apparently there are plans to add this next year. The only other downside was not being able to have drinks at poolside, that would have been perfect. Overall though this place was lovely and we'd stay again. The room was clean, modern and well equipped, the location was excellent (short and lovely walk to the centre), the breakfast was very good (lots of choice, excellent coffee and loads of food constantly replenished). The staff were wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Stayed for a trade fair in the nearby Espace Encan and rented a bicycle from the hotel. Excellent location also for the vast marina complex and the ferry into the old port. My only gripes are the very cumbersome wifi and the lack of a/c, as la Rochelle can get very hot. Top marks to the extremely helpful staff!

on reviendra, merci de la gentillesse de toutes les personnes travaillant là-bas. emplacement prèsdu centre ville donc voiture au garage. on a profité de la tranquillité de la piscine en ce mois de juin.

Séjour très court maintenant agréable. Appartement très spacieux bien agencé. Accueil très sympathique.
