I absolutely love Mon Petit Chum! Our hostess Dawn is a beautiful, hard working, dynamic woman, ready to help sort anything out from recommending restaurants & the best spots to visit; bringing you creamers at the break of dawn because you ran out and need that coffee or welcoming your visitors with her never ending smile and charm! The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, the rooms clean, quaint and oh so homey and your situated in a quiet spot right in the heart of the village. Beautiful birds and deer visiting you while you relax in the garden....I can't wait to go back! Thank you for a very special time

We stayed in the burnside suite which was super comfortable and cute. The host dawn was incredibly kind and eager to help.provide the optimal experience, and her breakfast menu still has me in awe. The BnB is also steps away from town ammenities which is a massive plus. I look forward to staying here again

This is the 4th time we stay here. I totally recommend, for families and couples too. Cozy accommodation, the owner is always near to help, amazing gourmet breakfasts, clean rooms and bathrooms, AC in every room, cable and apps on the tv for guests to use. It feels like home!

Comfortable, bright and cozy. Centrally located with walking distance to stores, restaurants and the ski hill. Dawn is a warm and cheerful hostess. Very accommodating. Love this place. Have been coming for several years and it is always a delight.

Loved it. Dawn was great and makes a heck of a breakfast. Had some great sleeps (did bring a pillow from home because of my own allergy problems). Great location, close to everything I needed… and close to some great hikes in the hills

My partner and I were in Wakefield for a professional development event. We chose this bed and breakfast due to its central location in Wakefield and proximity to local shops (bakery, bar, restaurant) and attractions (walking/run path, ski hills). Despite our unusual hours (late arrival, early mornings), Dawn, the owner, was keen to accommodate us and to make sure we were settled. As a small-business owner for more than a decade (possibly more?), she is well-connected in her community and is able to make interesting recommendations. We didn't have the chance to enjoy any of her recommendations, but if you happen to be interested in some of the other businesses in town, she might be able to inform you about events/deals/promotions. Lastly, this review would be incomplete if her breakfasts weren't mentioned: they are as good as the other reviews say! They are made with locally-sourced products (we recognized breads from the bakery down the street), and packed conveniently in lunch boxes, so you can pack them with you if you're on a schedule and need to eat on the road. Of course, we would come back for the location and the quality of the service, but if you're hesitating between different lodging options in town, the breakfasts really set this one apart. Don't underestimate how a good breakfast, paired with a warm "Good morning!", sets you up for a good day.

Great place. Dawn was amazing and everyone enjoyed themselves! The breakfast was incredible. It's a great place to stay in Wakefield! We are looking forward to coming back to Auberge de Mon petit Chum.

We have celebrated a honeymoon, and countless anniversaries at Mon Petit Chum. This year it is our "10 year of meeting" anniversary and celebrating it at Mon Petit Chum. We have enjoyed seeing deer, taking photos and fire pits at this location. Dawn has always welcomed us with open arms and her breakfasts are amazing!! We can only speak of the master queen unit with side entrance as it is the only room we stayed in, it is pleasant and we love the areas that are created within that space!! Time for movies, time for sleep! Thank you :-)

The owner made this stay, she is very personable and had a great restaurant recommendation that turned into one of my best restaurant experiences ever. We had a mini suite on the 2nd floor. Loud a/c window units but that was a very minor negative. Wlaking distance to resturants

My girlfriend and I went on a little getaway for her birthday and we decided to stay with Dawn at Petit Chum. From the very first email until we said goodbye, Dawn gave the absolute BEST experience we could have possibly asked for. #1 the food was DELICIOUS and there were so many options to pick from that made it easy for us as we are vegetarians. #2 our room was private, clean, safe, and on top of that had a gorgeous view of the hills. #3 Dawn was there whenever we needed anything and always responded to our texts with a prompt reply. We had some car troubles one day and it was because of her that we got a mechanic out to help on his day off and did not have our trip ruined. She is the absolute best host! Both my girlfriend and I cannot wait to come back to Wakefield and stay with Dawn again! If you’re looking to stay in the area I would 1000% recommend Mon Petit Chum B&B.

Where to begin - Dawn makes you feel like you're at home! Room was wonderful. We had the Black Sheep Room which was very comfy even with our private washroom opposite the room! We were able to walk everywhere, small beach and quay for a swim, bakeries, restaurants, pharmacy (if needed). Auberge a wonderful place to chill where Dawn allows us access to a firepit in the evening, a hammock in the yard, as well as a sunny patio to have our yummy breakfast. Designer sandwiches were the most delicious I've had! Thank you Dawn - we'll be back to Auberge Mon Petit Chum!

My husband and I stayed here on a recent trip to Ontario. We decided to get away for a night and it was a great decision. Such good value for the money we spent. The bed was so comfortable, it was the best sleep I had during our enture trip, and we had a really good breakfast in the morning. There were so many breakfast options, including vegan and vegetarian! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

My partner and I spent the weekend in the beautiful town of Wakefield. The B&B is perfectly located, just off the main *****. Our stay here felt so homely and cosy; everyone is SO friendly. Dawn, the owner, is absolutely brilliant - so kind and generous. Our room was very nice, the breakfasts were mouth-watering but it's the atmosphere that sets this place apart from others. Within minutes of arriving, we felt as if we had stayed there for weeks, and it was a pleasure to walk down Burnside Road and wave to the people who live there. Great weekend in a gem of a town, made even better by Dawn and her fabulous B&B. Cheers Dawn!
