Exceptional hotel on exceptional island. Great food and service. We could cycle everywhere, the pool is amazing and the location could not be better. I would definitely stay again and for longer if it were a tiny bit more affordable.

A hidden gem. Tidy, fantastic place to enjoy relaxed vacation. The Charme Villas are just amazing with your personal outdoor spas. The staff makes you feel that you are really important and unique guest. The breakfast by the beach is nice – with omelettes made like you want them. The island is small and peaceful filled with white sand beaches. There’s basically no nightlife, so the only noise ar night at the hotel is the birds singing. Thumbs up for The hotel, worth every penny.

A lovely hotel in a great location. Didn’t quite have the excellent staff experience that we enjoyed at our previous hotel on Praslin but overall, most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely swimming pool and Each villa enjoyed its own private area.

nice and beautiful hotel. the staff is smiling and very kind! Thanks for your smiles. The pool is large with a very beautiful view. Sunset with a glass of wine is a wonderful place to relax. If you have the opportunity to visit the hotel, you will definitely not regret it.

Great hotel in lovely location. Wonderful location by the ocean, pool view and restaurant view of the ocean. Spacious, comfortable room, with outdoor shower and in room facilities. Good food, both variety and taste. Friendly and supportive team, reception, restaurants and bugy drivers. The only complain is the intermittent wifi, both in the room and the hotel area. Very unfriendly.

Everything was perfect!!! From being met at the port upon arrival until the day I left when I was taken back to the port. All the staff and services were tops. Thank yo!!

Super surprised at the positive comments about this hotel! At first glance the hotel looks stunning, including the suites. We had room 231. It’s a long steep walk to it so we used a buggy every time. The buggy drivers had little regard for the passengers as it was a very fast and uncomfortable journey. We are a 66-year-old couple. During daylight the room looks amazing with a large balcony and outside shower. The toilet is inside but you must go outside to wash your hands! At night the lighting in the room is appalling and so bad that it was impossible to walk around the room safely, find clothes or but on make-up. The bed is on a dark wooden base that juts out and the flooring is dark too. In the evening my husband tripped because of the base jutting out! We ended up placing a pillow on each edge so that we would see them! Cockroaches in and outside of the room. Food for vegetarians seriously lacking protein (in fact mostly just vegetable and salads) and/boring. The only night we went to the buffet they had pizza but after telling them I had pizza at lunchtime the chef didn’t offer any alternatives apart from salads and vegetables. Once we got a manager involved, I was given pasta and red sauce with a little of bit parmesan sprinkled on it! The staff throughout the hotel generally were glum and showed no interest in engaging let alone greeting us. This was a stark contrast to the hotel we had just come from, Hotel Coco De Mer on Praslin Island. We stayed one out of 3 nights and returned to Coco de Mer after giving feedback to the deputy manager (Manager was not there). She explained that the room design was lite dimly to create e romantic mood!! None of our complaints seem to surprise her. We did not get a refund but we were not willing to spend another night there.

We really liked La Digue and after visiting Prasin before found it laid back and relaxed. The hotel is on the water front with great views over the sea from the restaurant, which is a buffet breakfast and dinner but good quality. Getting over from Praslin by a Cat is fun and we were met at the jetty and taken to the hotel. The first 15 mins were poor, staff chatting to themselves and largely unready for a new party of residents. However, once we were checked in and taken to our room we began to really enjoy the experience. We had a Villa de Charm which I would strongly advise, may be more expensive but you are higher up the hillside with terrific views- look out for the tropic birds and giant fruit bats! There is a buggy service but walking down is OK. There is a lot to see on La Digue so do plan and enjoy it. Bicycles and available but one of count not cycle! so we did do a lot of walking. Staff were fine once we got over the poor check in, and sadly we only stayed 3 nights and we were off to Silhouette, could have stayed longer
