It is mega clean for the hotel. Staff are professional trained and explained everything in detail!! The bed is super comfy which also include slippers and pyjamas! Highly recommend for couples and friends to travel near Kyoto!

3-minute walking distance to Gojo station. Spacious room with nice design in Tatami style with Kyoto tower view. Receptionists don’t look friendly. Toiletries and sleepwear are provided and placed near to the lobby lift. Beverage vending machines at Level 2. Quieter area compared to Kyoto station and Gion but have Family Mart, Lawson, McDonalds within walking distance. No special arrangement for anniversary celebration.

Only wished there were more washing machine available as it was difficult sharing 2 between so many people.

Generally the hotel is good, good location, very near the metro. Left side got family mart and another 24/7 supermarket. McD also nearby. Only one thing not good: they don’t provide drinking water. Will stay here again :)

2 mins walk away from Gojo station, super easy to get around all the sights! Family mart at the end of the street, lots of bus stops🚌 Room was simple and cosy with the traditional tatami mat style, totally fine for a few nights stay. Fresh towels every day and pajamas!💤 Breakfast was a 3.5 stars for me; lots of variety of drinks and Japanese style breakfast- hot food such as eggs sausage bacon etc was a bit cold even though we had breakfast around 7:30. Fruit and salad was lovely- soy milk pudding was the best!🍊

The hotel was nice and clean with a very beautiful Japanese styles interior, a small water fountain in the hotel lobby with quiet and peaceful ambient music. The hotel room was super cozy but a little compact if you’re visiting with friends, it separated into 2 sections, rock flooring (where you take off your shoes) toilets and bathrooms are In that area as well and tatami flooring area where shoes were not allowed, it gives you an authentic Japanese ryokan feeling while also being very mordent and cozy. My favourite part of this hotel room was the design, it’s very Japanese and you could control the brightness level of the room as well, it gives you a calming and peaceful staying experience. The beds were very comfortable too, but it could be too low for some. One of the drawbacks of the room was that there were no see through windows. Might just be my room. Overall it is a very good hotel, staff were friendly and helpful and speaks well English. I would highly recommend you to stay in this hotel!

3 mins walk from the Gojo station. Be mindful for large luggage Travellers 🧳 as there is no escalator or elevator on the nearest exit. Luggage storage before check in & after is available Tatami room is very comfortable and warm, as i stayed there during -2°. Other amenities like slippers, q-tips, comb and shaver can be collected on the 1st floor before you get on the lift to your room but Shampoo and body wash are all available in the room. Rooms/walls are very thick as it is very quiet. Very close to famous spots 20-30 mins walking distance.

Front desk doesn’t speak much English. Doesn’t provide help to make booking for restaurant. Near subway.

Super amazing hotel. Near Gojo station about 2-3 mins walk (Exit 4). Pretty and clean interior of lobby, where they have shelves of comic for free browsing. The hotel room is great as well. Love the tatami design and I feel called to say that the bed is super comfy. Highly accessible location as it is only 1 station away from kyoto, and has convenience stalls and food options nearby. Highly recommend!

The rooms were well designed, spacious and clean. Would recommend to have more space for hanging towels and clothes.

Exceptional for a budget hotel! 3min walk to city metro and close to bus stops, and there’s a medium size convenient store nearby. Staffs are polite and easy to communicate with. Room is very clean with separated bath and toilet area. I would say it’s nicely arranged and in reasonable size. The Tatami design is also a big highlight. Only drawback is sometimes you can hear the roadway noise if your room is facing the main road. I would advice people who mind that to request room in the other side of hallway. Also if you stay here for consecutive nights, be aware that they only do eco cleaning in most of the days (not even vacuuming the floor). But I guess it’s acceptable after considering the price.

There are some small hairs on the floor. But they come up to clean it right the way.

Amazing hotel located near to metro station! Stayed here for our anniversary day in December and they got us this omg! And our room can see the Kyoto Tower which is really a bonus! Love the japanese style room and thanks so much for hotel staff’s preparation and arrangement! Highly recommended!
