Rc Hotel Kyoto Yasaka

Lokasi sangat bagus. Hotel yang bagus dengan sedikit perbedaan. Meski memiliki suasana retro dan agak nostalgia, ini adalah fasilitas baru dan bersih.

Saya meminta persiapan untuk tiga orang dengan janji membayar biaya tambahan, tetapi saya kesulitan karena tidak ada fasilitas, tempat tidur, dll untuk jumlah orang. Ketika saya memeriksa dengan meja depan tentang masalah ini, saya diberitahu dengan setengah tersenyum, "Tidak ada masalah dengan kami." Akibatnya, saya tidak membayar biaya tambahan, tetapi permintaan saya tidak disetujui. Saya belajar bahwa lebih baik untuk memeriksa lagi sekitar seminggu sebelumnya. A great deal of attention placed on both design, and some vintage Japanese detail which I appreciated. An aesthetic that North Americans may consider hipster/artist chic. Concrete walls, exposed electrical pipes… Worked very well for me. Rooms are unusually spacious. Staff very helpful and English fluent. Just be aware there’s no TV - and it’s a bit of a challenge for taxis to get in there. Mine stopped me offf three blocks away. Wheeling two large suitcases uphill over very uneven stone streets was a challenge. The only negative.

When we opened the door we both had massive grins on our faces. The rooms were very spacious and clean, but it was the attention to detail that won us over. From the RC hotel CD (that we played on repeat and wish we had a copy of!) to the industrial decor, to the box of amenities. The view from the balcony is amazing and the location perfect. Just the size and location alone would make it a bargain, but we really feel we got incredibly lucky to book this hotel. It's just a really cool space! Note - our taxi would not take us to the hotel (dropped at the bottom of the hill) as the streets are narrow and crowded and we also had issues getting a taxi to pick us up when we left. We managed to get an uber from their during our stay with no issues though.

Great location for its price. The hotel is literally on the Yasaka pagoda photography spot where most tourist photos are taken, but it’s tucked away from the street that you will not be disturbed by the tourists. The hotel has a rooftop with breathtaking city view and a unique view of Yasaka pagoda. A lot of tourist spots in Kyoto is also walkable—Ninenzaka, the famous Starbucks Kyoto, Arabica Coffee, Kiyomizu Dera, Kodaji Park even Gion are all walkable from the hotel. Bus stop is also just about 5 minutes walk so transportation is not a problem. The hotel has unique touches to it, sparkling clean, large and spacious. The actual hotel is way better than the photos. Staff are also professional and friendly. I suggest you book the hotel for multiple days as the surrounding area has a lot to offer.

Close to Ninenzaka and Kiyomizu-dear within walking distance. Stylish minimal design, nice to have CD player with customised RC hotel play list.

The location is second to none and the design is really unique. Super comfortable accommodations, almost luxurious. You won't find anything like it in Kyoto. Exceedingly friendly staff too. Loved it.

Love the exceptional service. We arrived at 5pm on our check in date and was not able to rent a kimono in time. We were only there for a night and wanted to get photos on the hotel's rooftop. Upon check out, we had reserved to rent a kimono with a shop nearby, so we asked the receptionist if we can leave our luggage and come back to take a few photos on their rooftop. She was more than happy to assist us. This has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in Japan and will surely come back :)

The hotel couldn't be better located. If you wanna see the best spot in Kyoto and just live around the corner, book this hotel. It is very small with only 12 rooms but the rooms are so cool and large. The staff is very friendly and can speak English perfectly. I can highly recommend this hotel for everyone. The best price - value ratio in Japan!
