"The room wasn't particularly amazing, but I had no complaints about the bed and pillow, and I slept well. The single room had an air conditioner above my head, which was a bit loud... However, it was still quiet enough to allow me to sleep normally, so it wasn't a problem. Amenities were available next to the counter, and you could take them as you please, but if you forget, it's a hassle to go get them! It would have been nice to have them in the room. There was a welcome glass of sake, so I could take a break at the hotel... There was a convenience store a short walk away, and restaurants (and drinks) were nearby. There was a fresh rice cracker restaurant about a 10-minute drive away, where I had breakfast. Hotel breakfast is a bit pricey, I think. 2,000 yen for breakfast is a bit much for me...it looked delicious, though. I also wish they had a lighter breakfast option. Ine's Funaya Yako, Kotobikihama, and Amanohashidate are all within easy driving distance, so it's a good starting point. I wouldn't go so far as to say I highly recommend it, but I would say it's recommended!"

"Good points: It's a very spacious and atmospheric facility. Sandals are conveniently placed in the ground floor entrance area. There are many DVDs of movies, which we enjoyed watching on the large roll-up screen. The second floor has two bedrooms (one bed and one bed with three beds). The bed shapes vary, but all have electric blankets, air conditioning, and heaters. Towels and amenities for the number of guests are set up on the second floor, but since they will likely be used on the first floor, it might be better to place them near the sink. Bad points: There was a strong odor from the kitchen drain and refrigerator, and many of the dishes were dirty, so maintenance would be beneficial. The ground floor entrance area is cold in winter. While there is a kerosene heater, air conditioning, and electric heater, it's very spacious, so the whole area doesn't warm up easily. There's a gap in the entrance door; it would be better if gap-sealing tape were applied. The hotel's information mentioned a liquor service, but it's no longer available. Instead, there was information about a bar, but it was closed when I went during the listed hours, so prior confirmation is necessary. While I was able to stay at a very reasonable price, perhaps I shouldn't expect too much. The facilities are lovely, the staff are very pleasant, and I believe a few small improvements would significantly raise the bar, so I wanted to share my honest opinion."

"We stayed in a trailer room for two people. We went to the hotel from Yuhigaura-Kitsu Onsen Station on the Kyotango Railway. As we approached the station, we could easily spot the hotel from the train, and it was conveniently located just a short walk away. The underfloor heating and humidifier made for a comfortable stay. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it was a tight squeeze for two people; it would be perfect for one person. There were instructions in the room on how to use the sofa bed, which was helpful. When using the sofa as a bed, the center table got in the way, making the room feel cramped. A simpler, foldable table would have made it even more convenient. We were also able to use the hot springs in the main building, and the breakfast was the same as for guests staying in the main building, with some items available for refills, and it was delicious. We were also able to freely tour the old inn, making it a more comfortable stay than we had imagined."
