The price is very high. Although it is old, the service is very good. You enter the room and turn on all the equipment before leaving. It is very noble. The downstairs is very lively and convenient to eat and drink. There is also Starbucks

Great location, great view from balcony

On the first night, the hotel arranged for me a room facing the seaside and the roadside. Due to my poor sleep quality, the sound of music, cars and people at night made me unable to sleep. The next day I negotiated with the front desk, they said that there is no room to change. I said then you refund the next day's room fee to me, I will check out and leave. After a while, one of the barmen said that I could move to another room and let me have a look. On the minus floor, it was a room with disabled facilities, but it was quiet, so I stayed here and slept well at night. The hotel should take into account the needs of different people, not just to see the sea, at the expense of the needs of quiet guests.

We have been holidaying in Turkey for over 13 years and this unfortunately is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in as a family. I read the reviews before booking, and at the time they were mixed. Our experience pretty much echoed the negative reviews written by previous guests. The reception area would leave you believing that you were entering a 4 star hotel... however once you've reached your room you soon realise that you are very much mistaken. The Derici is very old, the whole hotel is screaming out for a renovation, from the fixtures and fittings, to the music in the lifts, breakfast room and pool area. The bedrooms are in a poor state of repair ( see photos ) and cleanliness is evidently not a priority. Staff lack personality and are reluctant to help ( laughed when I raised an issue ) An number of guests became unwell, including myself, my son and daughter ( sickness & diarrhea)  this we could only put down to the poor hygiene - in particular the pool area. The freshwater pool wasn't cleaned once whilst we were there, dirty wipes we observed on the pool floor along with black muck. The ladders into to pool were unstable ( loose bolts which were supposed to secure the ladders to the pool side ) the umbrellas were old and covered in dirt and mould. We had to speak to the reception staff as stained bedding was continually put on our beds ( see photos) The lifts were unreliable and often flashed a service sign. As usual we booked half board. We are very aware of what is usually on offer for breakfast, but what the Derici offered was poor. I've read the responses on other guests comments from the hotel management in regard to what is available - however the reality is very different - the coffee machine never gave you the option you requested - a very dated machine. curried egg, cheese on toast (like rubber ) the yogurt was not cold, bread was stale. Meat and cheese options were clearly recycled from other meal sittings - dried/discoloured on the edges. I felt for the families with young children as there was nothing available for them apart from cereal - however the milk was not cold. We ate the evening meal on just 4 occasions over the two weeks of our stay as the same meal was served 3 times out of the 4. The staff on duty in the evening were at times incredibly rude to the guests, tickets were provided for the evening meal, the staff demanded the ticket before allowing you to enter, as our booking was half board for the duration of our stay you would think you would be forgiven for forgetting your ticket on one occasion...I was not allowed to enter by the dinner ticket police and sent to get my ticket. Do not email the hotel to request a sea view, I did this ( months in advance ) and to guarantee this type of room I had to pay 182.00 on arrival. I was told that the hotel was full, and therefore this payment would 'guarantee' this room albeit a side sea view. My son ( 25 ) had a separate room booked and declined the sea vie

Absolutely disgusting hotel never seen a 4 star all the staff were miserable and rude the noice is disrespectful on a nigh from the bar underneath and one just down the road with live bands every night.Definitely wouldn’t go back to this hotel it’s filthy the bathrooms are awful and filthy they need to teach there cleaning staff how to clean properly.

The hotel is always nice and clean, the staff are always very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is always good and find the food good when we have lunch at the pool and some times dinner at night. The hotel is in a good position to go to different restaurants at any time, also to go to the beach over the road and Ladies Beach.

Great location for this hotel. Seaview rooms are great but be warned you will get some noise. Cleaning staff do a wonderful job. Most of the staff are happy and friendly. Room is well appointed. Maybe rooms are a little tired and in need of refurbishment in places. Location makes up for it.

Lovely hotel. quick check in room clean with a side side view. Lovely roof top pool with plenty of sun-beds. Breakfast was standard Room was kept clean throughout our stay with clean towels every day. Would stay again if returning to Kusadasi.

My 4th time staying at the Derici Hotel this August / I have found the management and staff to be very helpful, especially the maid on my floor Nisha and also Ashley/ the room I requested was given to me and I could not have gotten a better view anywhere in Kusadasi. The pool area is lovely and relaxing with a fab shaded terrace to eat at and on floor underneath. I usually wait to eat brunch up the town around lunchtime so only used breakfast facilities a couple of times for cereal juice and toast with boiled egg and thought it was lovely, beds are a little on the hard side but the hotel can provide mattress toppers if requested which I did. I hope to return to the Derici many more times in the years to come

do not go there Staff are rude,no kettle in the room,rooms hall ways all dirty. nothing good to say about this hotel .i would not give this hotel onw* you cant bring your soft drinks to the roof top pool you have to get them from the rude man at pool side.

i would just like to say on arrival we were shown to 2 rooms at the rear of the hotel with a view of all the washing that had fallen of other holday makers balconys on to a makeshift roof . after only been there for 2 days 1 out of the party of four got a stomach bug to inclued sickness and diarrhoea. followed by the rest of our party which continued to ther end of the holiday which was 10 nights stay . has for the cleaning of our rooms hoverd, bed change, clean towels the facilities within the room ie bathroon and shower were unclean is a kind word they were disgusting if your looking to stay here please don't !!!!!! we looked at the reviews and thought it will be ok but it turned out to be a nightmare breakfast was a shocker pool man short chap , allways smiled not and was very rude sunbed snapped in haif with my friend laid on it . there was no duty of care at all we complained to thed hotel and they were not concerned at all this honnest review and we are still ill on returning to the uk.

Where do I start with this joke of a hotel, this is the 3rd time we have been to Kusadasi and I can honestly say staying at this hotel has put us off going back there. The staff are so rude and very unprofessional and not helpful at all, especially the pool attendant who needs to go to charm school, one day I layer out on the sun bed and it literally collapsed on me which I can honestly say gave me the shock of my life and I reported it to the pool attendant who looked at me and said it’s fine just get another one, I could not believe what I had just heard no duty of care at all, so I reported it at reception and spoke to the manager who again was not helpful and turned round and said wel that could of happened to anyone, wow my response was well yeah it happened to me and he then said well I will have a word with him, unbelievable, don’t even get me started on the rooms absolutely disgusting, they were cleaned daily which consisted of hovering the floor and changing the beds and emptying the bins the bathroom was disgusting and so unhygienic, it really put me off and then to top it all the wife and couple we went all ended up catching a bug and were not well, especially my wife who is still not right and we had to go to the doctors when we got home. The selection for breakfast was a joke, one morning there was fried eggs with mincemeat need I say anymore, to sum it up the hotel needs a complete refurbishment, and needs to take at least 2 stars off.
