Room: The room has a large space, in addition to the basic bed, TV, sofa chairs and coffee tables, suitable for business trips. It is convenient to bring a computer to work, and no longer have to put the computer on your legs.

The thin lady at the front desk provided good service. I only give 3.5 points to this thin lady. The front desk ignored me when I checked out. There was no service at all. They probably thought I would not come back and did not care about the service, so 1.5 points were deducted from the service score. I checked out late at 2 o'clock, but they urged me to check out at 12:45. The room was clean, but the curtains were broken and the light switch was not easy to use. There was no soundproofing in the room. I did not know when I checked in. I don't know why the neighbors were making a lot of noise in the corridor until about 11 o'clock in the evening. The whole homestay is along the street. After closing the windows, all the vehicles passing by on the road can hear the sound. The storefronts along the street have single-layer old-fashioned sliding windows with poor sealing. Those who understand will understand. The most soundproof and quietest room is probably the shower room. For breakfast, it is really free, with only steamed dumplings, red bean rolls, porridge and boiled eggs. If you go late, there are also a few sweet potato tips, which are only the size of quail eggs. Generally speaking, apart from the room decoration that I liked and the front desk lady when I checked in, everything else was very unpleasant 😂. The location is good. The Yunnan Provincial Museum is across the road. It is about 1.5 kilometers away from Guandu Ancient Town, which is a bit far to walk. The room was converted from the third floor with a loft, which is equivalent to a normal floor height plus a loft. There is no partition in the middle, and it feels a bit weird to look at the roof while lying on the bed😨.

The first time I came to Kunming for a business trip, I felt very good. It was much better than my hotel with equal prices. The room was very clean. I didn’t find a little dust during the whole stay. The environment was good and the location was good. You can go shopping when you come down from the hotel. How to say it, I booked a computer room, but there was no computer. The towels seemed to be no new ones. The bathroom door would crunch. There was no light switch on the bedside. I had to run to the door to turn off the light.

Free parking, but there are few parking spaces. The hotel will arrange to park in a nearby parking lot overnight. The overall environment is good. The elevator is convenient for dragging luggage. The breakfast is rich, but after 8:30, many staple foods such as eggs and buns have been taken away. Only freshly cooked rice noodles and other foods can be eaten.

I have early flight to catch so the location is perfect for us so we can sleep abit later and not need to rush to airport since we are already in the airport. The receipt is extremely customer oriented, there are two reception and located at both end and she assign the rooms near to her side so we don't need to walk to the other end. As we are taking early flight and could not take breakfast, she is so nice to pack some milk and pastries for us.
The room are in good size, clean, and high tech using voice control! If I go back kunming again I will definitely stay here.

GGuest UserHad a great experience staying here! The location is superb and what’s even more amazing is their customer service. Though this is only a 4 star hotel, their customer service is top-notch, deserved to be 5 star. Even before the stay, the hotel reached out to be if I need some decoration for my room. Without even a second thought they will assist you with your luggage when checking in and out. They also called to our room if we needed any night snacks and delivered it up. I encountered numerous hiccups with my taobao deliveries and they took the initiative to assist and contact the delivery company. The hotel also serves wonderful breakfast at the lobby and there’s a corner in the lobby where snacks are served at specific timing. What’s interesting is that you can make your own tea/coffee. The hotel also has laundry room for everyone to use at no costs. I would like to specially thank 凤凰 and 欣玉 for their excellent service and hospitality! ❤️

__Gary_This hotel's convenient location is ideal for early morning airport departures; however, the exceptional service provided by Ms.丁绮月 from check-in to departure was truly outstanding. Upon my late-night arrival, Ms.丁绮月 efficiently processed my check-in while thoroughly explaining hotel amenities and breakfast options, ensuring a restful start after a long journey.
Her exceptional service left a lasting impression. Despite my offer to retrieve my Taobao packages myself, she insisted on using the automated robot, demonstrating a genuine desire to assist. Although my app showed the some of my missing packages as delivered, her proactive approach quickly resolved the issue. She identified the possibility that they were mistakenly delivered to a nearby building, 30 meters away, sharing the same address but a different block number. This enabled me to locate the missing packages. Her willingness to go above and beyond, rather than simply stating the hotel lacked the parcels, was truly commendable.
Upon nearing departure for my flight, I had arranged private transportation. While awaiting the vehicle, Ms.丁绮月 emerged from the hotel, informing me of the imminent arrival (within five minutes) of the hotel's airport shuttle. She kindly offered the shuttle as an alternative, considering my substantial luggage. Instead of simply processing my checkout, she proactively assisted, waiting outside in the cold until the shuttle's arrival to ensure my safe boarding and even helped with my heavy luggage, exceeding expectations.

All 2 rooms are on the 2nd level.
Fit my family of 4 adults. Each bedroom has 1 double bed which is big can fit 2 medium sized adults.
1st level has a toilet and big sofa can use as bed too.
Night view is nice when all the buildings infront lighted up.
2 tvs one on 1st level and second one at the main bedroom. All are chinese programmes. It be good if the hotel can have some english speaking programmes or movies.
Unit comes with washing machine but not dryer.
There is a self serving laundry at 26th floor for guest use that comes with ironing facilities, dryer and washing machine.

There are few malls around but we didnt have time to explore all. Visit Laoyuhue wetland park (20mins drive). It was crowded but huge park. everyone has space for photoshoots and photography. Beautiful lake and yellow trees with seagulls. Took lots of pictures here. We went to visit Kunming Chenggong huihuiying mosque(20mins car ride) and meet the friendly muslim community there. We tried the flavorful muslim local beef noodles. Bought big bag of delicious caramel popcorn from a streetvendor.

The hotel was nice to provide us a free drop off to Kunming South railway( 15mins drive). Its not a normal car. In fact its the inhouse limousine for inhouse guest. Amazing.
Note: the lift is a shared lift with other tenants and other hotel guests. Jun’an hotel units are on the top floor 26th and 27th floor

GGuest UserWe are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.)
Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

JJohannaThis area is pretty neat, I only booked to be close to the train station but there's a huge university town below with food stalls open late and soooo many food options.
SQUAT TOILET. Just so you know, rooms only have squat toilets in a tiny bathroom, such that you have to shower while standing over the squat toilet. Which is fine by me, but certainly not everyone's favorite. Good enough for the price.
