Convenient location of the hotel, between two beaches. All entertainment and food are within walking distance. The room is large, there is almost everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Timber House was conveniently located right on the main road where many bars, restaurants, and shops were, and across the street from the beach. It was about 8 minute drive from the port, 40 minute drive to the Krabi Airport, and 1 mile walk to the Monkey Trail. My sister and I stayed in a double twin bed room, which was very spacious and the air conditioning worked well. We both became very ill with food poisoning our first night and the room was a comfortable place to be immobile for 48 hours. The water from the faucets and showers had a weird smell and taste, and the pool water was a strange shade of green at some points, but those were our only complaints with the hotel itself. The breakfast had a great selection (not for someone with food poisoning but under different circumstances we would’ve loved it), and the front desk was very helpful. I believe we could’ve booked excursions through them, but we did not try. If we weren’t so traumatized by our Krabi experience and were brave enough to revisit and risk a second round of food poisoning, we would definitely stay at Timber House again.

This resort is really close to Anong Beach, just a short 5-10 minute walk away. The swimming pool is nice and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The furniture is a bit old, but the rooms are big and comfy. Plus, it's not too expensive, so it's a good choice if you want a decent place to stay without spending too much money.

It’s not a house it’s kind a resort with thai style amenities.

This hotel was in a perfect location, only a small walk up to the shops, night Market and bars. The room was very spacious and the bed was also massive! Shower caps, shampoo, body wash and ears buds were provided with lots of towels. Each day fresh water was provided with extra loo rolls. Nice quiet location for relaxing, would recommend!

The hotel is walking distance from both Ao Nang and Nopparat Thara beaches. The pool is great, though only open from 7am to 7pm. Because of the high temperatures in Ao Nang, the pool never cools down and water is always slightly warm. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Plenty of towels for the shower and the pool. The airconditioners work well, just a bit old and noisy. The staff were all very friendly and treated us like family. The electricity outlets didn’t work very well and we struggled a few times to get the kettle to work. Our family booked three rooms over more than 3 weeks, and we would definitely return here again. The night markets are close by, as well as plenty of fruit and smoothie stalls. Breakfast was fine. Cereals, toast, fruit, sausages and ham as well as Thai dishes, fruit juice and a coffee machine. The Thai dishes were sometimes a bit too spicy, but there was always a non-spicy fried rice and noodle dish. Overall we were happy with our stay. For the price and convenience it was worth it for a big family. Thanks to the friendly staff for your hospitality and smiles.

Nice location and the staffs were kind.

There was only one benefit for this hotel. It is location with car parking. All other facilities was lower then the cheapest hostel. Unfortunately owner have done nothing to normal maintain hotel infrastructures. Electricity in our room had broken at late evening, so aircon and refrigerator also switched off.

Location: 10/10 Of all the places I stayed on my trip in Krabi, this has the best location and safety for the price. Just a 5 to 10 minute walk from Ao Nang beach, with a 7-eleven nearby and the longtail boat ticket office just down the road. Nearby they have money changers, fruit stalls in the day and tourist booths nearby (selling day tour tickets or airport shuttle tickets). Walk in the opposite direction of the beach for 15 minutes and you'll reach the Ao Nang Landmark night market, plenty of food, good restaurants along the way too. Walking alone at night as a female was no issue for me. Location was also very close by to Nopparat Thara Pier, so if you book a day trip from that pier and choose hotel pickup and drop off, it's a quick 5-10 minute drive. Room and Facilities: 9/10 Breakfast was included, which has rice/noodle dishes, chicken, salad, yogurt, bread, fruits, coffee machine, eggs that they cook on the spot. Okay breakfast but it's good enough for the low price. The pool is nice, clean and warm in the evening. Room was spacious and clean, had a safety box (free), Wi-Fi and TV with international channels. They also provide soap and shampoo, but no conditioner. They are very generous with the number of towels they provide, so you'll have plenty for after the pool, or on the beach. My only complaint is the mosquitoes - when the housekeeper cleans the rooms, they leave the door wide open so you may return to your room and find many mosquitoes in there. Just apply mosquito repellent when you're in the room and you'll be unbothered. Final word of advice, use a ride hailing app to get a ride from the airport to hotel. For hotel to airport, go to the tourist booth next door to the resort and get the airport shuttle for only 150 Baht :)
