view sunset cantik. bilik okay okay saja stay satu malam. dari bilik ni boleh tengok sunrise pulak. jangan lupa bangun awal okay boleh brisk walk pagi-pagi hirup udara nyaman sambil tunggu sunrise dan view gunung kinabalu walaupun jauh saja tapi cantikk.

Bagus tapi tandas saja berbau hingga masuk ke ruang bilik.

WiFi and the TV were not working for our entire 2 days stay. This problem persisted not just our room but the entire block. Breakfast took an hour to prepare. We ordered at 7am and the food arrived at 805am. The only plus point is the beautiful view of the city and Mt Kinabalu.

The service provided was excellent, the rooms were dated and could be updated. The views were amazing, though driving up by yourself is quite daunting, especially when driving in the dark as there isn’t any lighting along the road. Definitely worth a stay at Kokol Haven Resort.

I had a very disappointing experience on New Year’s Eve 2025. My overnight stay was so unpleasant that I ended up checking out at 1:00 a.m. despite checking in at 8:00 p.m. After enjoying the dinner buffet at the restaurant, I entered the room for the first time at 1:00 a.m., only to be greeted by a spider with many legs and a photo frame covered in spider webs on the wall. The spider was actively moving around, and we were worried it might come near us while we slept. I immediately reported this to the reception, hoping to switch to a better room. Unfortunately, they only offered to clean the room rather than provide a replacement or cancellation option, which was disappointing but understandable. The room’s overall condition was also subpar, with an uncomfortable smell that made the stay even worse. It was not the New Year’s experience I had hoped for.

We had a pleasant stay, thanks to the friendly and hospitable staff. Our room in the Main Resort was spacious with a large toilet and a balcony, but it could benefit from some minor refurbishments. We noticed loose flooring with sharp edges and an ageing sofa that required attention. The cold weather may have contributed to a slightly damp and mouldy atmosphere in the room. Unfortunately, we experienced itchiness after sleeping on the bed and sofa, suggesting the possible presence of bed bugs. Breakfast was simple yet sufficient. Overall, it’s a decent resort with great potential, provided they address these maintenance concerns. However, given the price we paid, we expected a higher standard, making it feel slightly overpriced.

Excellent service, amenities and breakfast. Recommend place to visit!

Everything was amazing, the weather was nice can even witness both sunset and sunrise.

Blessed with good weather. Hike abit to mama hill to get best sunset & mount k view. Room is fair, felt humid upon check in, probably after clean up as bathroom still wet, but better after on aircon. Breakfast is simple.

accomodating staff and beautiful hotel. satisfied with the services. buffet is simple but fulfilling.

Best place for both sunrise and sunset

Beautiful views, fine atmosphere. The only downside is the frequent power outages during my stay.

Kokol Haven Resorts ( KHR) is built on one of the most unique location in Sabah. It sits astride on the Cocker Range, at 2400 ft above the sea level and provides a cool 24 to 26 celcius , mediterrian climate all year round. Everything amazing..superb

Beautiful view of both the Kota Kinabalu city line and shore on one side and Mount Kinabalu on the other. The views alone make the stay worthwhile.
