Ulasan The Market by Parkhotel

As born and bread man from Kortrijk/Courtrai, I regulary visit the Market by Parkhotel. As it was a particulary hot day today, I asked for an Orangina. I got a super cool one, with two slices of oranges and plenty of ice cubes. A big thank you to Noor, the Queen of the Market by Parkhotel, who put some effort and sympathy in it.

Nice place, great location, superb breakfast. They offer a free drink from mini bar if you don’t require room being made up, but having used the towels, there was absolutely nowhere to hang them to dry for reuse. That, and no room kettle, are minor quibbles. Staff were friendly and helpful. I’d stay again for the breakfast alone. Just wish I had two stomachs.

Very nice stay. The spa and sauna was absolutely a hit. Good restaurants nearby. Trainstation across the street.

There was very cold on arrival, and the control for the heather was not in the room. No hot water in the bathroom at all. Hotel was under renovation and it seemed like the room was not ready for a visitor

Very small rooms .when you take shower all water goes outside.house keeping so bad

Not bad, just that they are working on the many missing details such as good elevator and update to rooms. Once that is done it will be more comfortable. Bed was good. Shower could have a better way to avoid water being spilled on the whole bathroom floor. Elevator is scary and dangerous! Staff very friendly!

Price/ quality very correct. Well located.

The reception area and breakfast café were being refurbished so we had to go to a near by partner hotel for breakfast, would have been nice if we'd be informed of this before arrival. Toiletries were replenished every day, very wasteful as the bottles of shower gel & shampoo were sufficient for at least two days as was the bar of soap. Nice rooms, comfy bed but the en-suite areas in our rooms (4 of us x 4 rooms) didn't have doors so rooms were only really suitable as singles despite the double beds.

The breakfast was very basic, the breakfast area/bar was always cold. Hotel was very small.

You might be surprised by the size of the room, by the size of the lift cabin, reception, stairs, etc.. everything is "micro". But clean :) what is disturbing - lack of door between shower microspace and bedroom. Very humid. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is good.

Nice bed and good customer service, but a few normal things were missing from the bathroom. There was no towel rack to hang/dry/store towels as well as no toilet paper holder, so we left the toilet paper on the ground. It’s a small room with not a lot of space by the sink for toiletries, so it would be nice to have holders/racks for the toilet paper/towels to create more room for our own items in the bathroom.

Mooie setting. Zéér vriendelijke bediening. Niet goedkoop. Niet altijd even lekker. Vrij beperkte kaart. Héél veel personeel in de keuken . Mensen die het blijkbaar leuk vinden als ze niets te doen hebben... Blijft dat duren ????

Väldigt möglig luft från luftkonditioneringen

Basic hotel, heeft renovatie nodig. Oude kleine lift, plak plastic op de deur, niet fout, maar oud, laat dus ook wat los en zou eenvoudig opgelost kunnen worden. Ontbijt is top! Vriendelijk personeel die een eitje serveert zoals jij het wenst. Kan zoveel meer zijn dit hotel.. beetje investeren
