"The staff were very kind and answered our questions carefully. Unfortunately, the location of our room was not open and we could see the garden or pool; there were overgrown trees in front of the balcony, it didn't get much sunlight, and it smelled a bit moldy. It was convenient to have shopping, ATMs, and several restaurants nearby, but unfortunately the nearby Japanese restaurant was closed for renovations and we couldn't use it."

"The perfect base for a trip to Palau, this hotel is a steal! The Palau Holiday Inn is an absolute gem for Koror accommodations. From check-in to check-out, everything was truly delightful. First, let's talk about the breathtaking ocean view. Our Deluxe Ocean View room opened its window to the luminous blue Pacific Ocean. That "glass sea" truly felt like a fairytale scene. The room was incredibly spacious, the bedding was comfortable, the bathroom had a well-appointed wet and dry area, and it was spotlessly clean and tidy. The location is fantastic: a 5-minute walk to downtown Koror, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. It's also close to WCTC Supermarket and Long Causeway Park, making daily commuting a breeze. The service and dining were truly exceptional. The staff spoke Chinese, making communication seamless, and their friendly smiles greeted us throughout the entire stay. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and even more worry-free, the hotel arranged our sailing excursions directly, making it a much more reliable and cost-effective option than booking them outside. For over 1,000 per person, this quality accommodation is truly exceptional value in Palau. I have recommended this hotel to friends who are going to Palau. During the peak season, you must book 1-2 months in advance, otherwise you will really miss out!"

"I visited Palau for the first time in September 2024. Rose Garden Resort Restaurant was recommended by others I know that have visited Palau. They said "fantastic views overlooking the coast, and one of the best hamburgers you’ll find in Palau. One of the few places where you can get a decent omelette in the mornings!" I went for lunch and ordered a 1/2 half lb. hamburger with caramelized onions. It was wonderful. Sad it was raining when I went so I wasn't able to see the view. I loved that they played R&B and R&B jazz music while I was there."

"Boutique hotel that has been newly renovated. Only thing is room smells musty. Breakfast is a simple offering that consists of a rotation of sausages / links / bacon / vegetables with a few fixed dishes but delicious. Located in downtown Koror which is small so a lot of places are within walking distance. There is a weekday bus that stops near the hotel."

"Special palm leaf roof architecture. Business is slow, so you might be the only guest or one of just a few in the entire hotel. The room thoughtfully provides electric mosquito repellent, so you won’t be bothered by mosquitoes while sleeping. However, since there are likely not many guests, the housekeeping might have prepared the room well much early, so the bedding had a damp, musty smell. Breakfast is not included, but you can add it for about US$13. There are many options to choose from, and it's recommended to order the day before so you can eat early and catch your boat trip in the morning. For dinner, there’s the Jungle Bar restaurant within the premises, but it seems that if there aren’t many guests staying, it might not be open."

They provided transportation to and from the airport, even though we arrived and left in the middle of the night. "This is a very comfortable guesthouse-style hotel. The front desk staff are very welcoming and down-to-earth. You can order whatever you want in the restaurant and have it cooked on the spot, so you don't have to worry about pre-made meals. There are also Chinese-speaking staff. Those who aren't fluent in English don't need to worry at all. Although it's a little far from the city center, the city center isn't a major concern in Palau, so it's not a big issue. Overall, it's very cost-effective. I highly recommend booking this hotel for independent travelers to Palau. You can also contact the front desk in advance to check out island hopping tour packages."

There are many restaurants around, but there is a shared kitchen with everything you need, so you can buy ingredients and cook your own meals.
