"We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The location is great, but be careful when booking rooms. It turns out the cheapest room (called "standard") looks cool in the photos, but it's actually a windowless bunker. 😂 There's a tiny window that doesn't open and overlooks the stairs behind the building. When someone climbs up, they constantly peek through this tiny window, so we stayed with the curtains closed. There's no ventilation, and when you turn on the air conditioner, it blows right into your head. Our towels weren't changed or the room cleaned even once. But we're not prideful people; we changed our own towels and fetched our own water. And if you're worried, the toilet and shower in the bathroom aren't separated, so you can wash yourself while sitting on the toilet. 😂 Overall, the hotel itself is not bad, and the breakfasts are okay. But when booking, book a deluxe room and you'll be fine; they have windows overlooking the backyard and common hallway. But I wouldn’t go back a second time if I had other options with windows)"

"The room and service were decent. Perhaps with the rising prices in Thailand, it doesn't stand out as much anymore. To get to and from the hotel from the pier on the island, you'll need to take a songthaew. It's definitely more convenient to rent a motorbike if you're staying on the island, you can even ride to some small beaches in the south to relax. The hotel's restaurant has a nice ambiance and is good for a fancy meal. I'd recommend a street food stall I found – for about 200 baht per person, including four or five beers, the food was delicious. They even sent a small cake on my birthday night."

"We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience due to the poor level of service throughout our stay. 1/ Reception The reception staff were neither welcoming nor friendly. Although we booked two rooms under a single booking confirmation through Trip.com, they assigned our rooms far apart and claimed it was because the rooms had been booked separately. When I showed them the booking confirmation clearly indicating both rooms were under one reservation, the staff simply told me to complain to Trip.com instead of trying to resolve the issue. 2. Food & Beverage Service Day 1: The F&B Manager (I believe his name was Nicky) was extremely rude when we asked about the charges for bottled beverages. Instead of explaining politely, his attitude made us feel as though we were being forced to order immediately or leave the restaurant. There was no smile, no hospitality, and no professionalism. Day 2:We wanted to rent a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), but the F&B staff told us they were too busy and could not provide the service. We then went to the reception for assistance, only to be told to return to the F&B department. After explaining that the F&B staff had already refused to help us, the receptionist finally arranged the rental. This unnecessary back-and-forth could have been avoided with better communication and customer service. Instead of enjoying our time there, we need to run from these staffs to fully accomandate our requests. 3. Housekeeping :We placed our room key in the housekeeping box to request room cleaning, but no one came to clean our room. 4. Limited Dining Hours:The F&B service closed at 9:30 PM, which is surprisingly early for a remote beach resort where guests have very limited dining alternatives. Overall Experience Overall, I regret choosing this hotel in compared from the other hotel I booked and cancelled from trip.com and I feel confident in hotel rating showed at trip.com. My disappointment has nothing to do with its location, but everything to do with the level of service provided. The staff generally lacked warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. While a few employees were pleasant, the overall service—especially from the F&B Manager & the guy from reception—was far below expectations. It did not even meet the standard of hospitality I have experienced at many 2-star hotels. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome and valued. Unfortunately, this hotel failed to deliver even the most basic level of customer service, and I would not recommend it based on my experience."

"We stayed at the hotel for three nights. Overall, it's okay for a night or two. The rooms are currently being renovated, but they haven't cleaned them since. There's construction dust everywhere, and the floors are also covered in construction dust. It's unpleasant to walk barefoot. The mattresses are terrible, very soft, with sand everywhere. The towels are old but clean and changed every day. The rooms are infested with ants. The hotel grounds themselves are clean, but the same can't be said for the rooms. The breakfast is standard for Thailand (eggs, rice, vegetables with meat, melon and dragon fruit, cereal). Not luxurious, but edible. The beach. The sea itself is gorgeous, with fine sand and a gentle slope. The sun loungers are dirty. Beach towels are provided. And the worst thing for us was the theft. They stole our child's dress, which was drying on the terrace (on a hanger that was hanging on a drying rack). First, they told us the wind blew it away (which is impossible, it would have blown away with the hanger). Then they brought us a dress that had obviously been torn by itself and said it was the dogs (this information was funny, but it left a bad taste in our mouth). When we checked in, we were given a room where the room next door was being renovated. We were with a small child. On the first day, we arrived, and the room smelled awfully of paint. We went back to reception and changed rooms. Would I stay at this hotel again? Probably not. Or maybe just for 1-2 nights for a really cheap price."

"This Silver Sand Resort on Koh Samet was truly terrible. I booked a garden room but was assigned a second-floor room with no elevator. After lugging my suitcases upstairs, I realized the room layout was incorrect, so I had to move again. The new room had sand on the bed, which they claimed was falling from the ceiling. After it was cleaned, I went back to find sand again. The restaurant staff were all surly. They messed up my order because they weren't communicating and didn't even provide cutlery. When I asked for cutlery, they still didn't bring it. It was as if the boss wasn't paying them! Truly awful."
