The hotel is located about 400 meters from Sannomiya JR station. Chinatown is 1.5 kilometers and the Kobe port tower about 2.5 kilometers. The service was exceptionally good, courteous and helpful. The front desk saw me bringing some Ramen noodles and gave me a teapot. The room was comfortable and large enough.

I booked it for my dad, thinking it was just for a night's sleep. The front desk didn't allow me to send him up, leaving an elderly man who didn't speak Japanese to mess with the room by himself. Dad said the room was too stuffy, like being in jail. Finally, he checked out of the room early in the morning and went to a cafe to kill time... the most terrifying experience.

Business hotels these days provide at least one bottle of mineral water as a service. There are no amenities and it even feels a little outdated. The location is also good, so are the facilities and services secondary? I want you to do your best.

It's about a 5-minute walk from the station. I stayed there for 2 nights as a solo traveler. A simple breakfast of bread, coffee or tea, orange juice and boiled rice* is included. The staff at the restaurant were different on both days, but when they found out I was a traveler, they brought me pamphlets and told me about Kobe's history, and were very kind. There were many solo travelers, so I was able to relax without being bothered by noise or voices.
