Ulasan Koyao Bay Pavilions - Beach Resort and Pool Villas

Five star rating for this boutique resort. It is unique in terms of its accommodations, location, resort staff and management. Everything from start to finish was wonderful. The staff are very attentive, friendly and gracious. I did not want to leave. Food was lovely (Thai dishes on the menu that I have never tried before). The restaurant staff are welcoming and very helpful with menu recommendations. Housekeeping was superb. They were efficient, very quiet and thorough (thank you). Ryan the manager provided a warm welcome and made me feel settled immediately. George the owner was a diamond (very approachable and loves his resort). The pool was cleaned morning and night and the grounds were kept in good shape. My accommodation was a beach pavilion suite (adults only, so calm and relaxing). The suites are extremely spacious with the lounge area separated from the bedroom and bathroom by a small path. High vaulted ceilings helped to keep the property cool at night. These suites are kept cool by fans and the sea breeze (not by air con) which enhances the natural feel of the resort. You may see cute tree frogs hopping around the resort. They are harmless and will just chill wherever they lay their hat. Be kind and gentle if you encounter them. The pool is just steps away from the beach suites, is shared, and is deep and refreshing (Easy to get in, and easy to get out, even for older people). There are no children in the suites or in the pool. The beach is just a 60 second walk across the grass from the pool and has about 6 hammocks, 3 swings and a bench to lounge around on. Lovely view of the bay from there and the you can easily fall asleep in the hammocks to the sound of the waves, birdsong and the small cute, delicate crabs scampering in and out of their holes in the sand. This is a resort for people who want to switch off and relax. There are no TVs in the suites; the only sounds are the sounds of nature. The internet there is super fast so you will have no problems keeping in touch with home or watching movies if you bring your own device (use earphones). There are beach bars and eateries scattered around the island if you want to go out at night. Taxis are cheap and the locals are very friendly. If you come here you will find a super chilled, welcoming ambience. I can't wait to go back. Thank you for a wonderful few days

A gem on the island, with each villa having been well engineered and seriously built, respecting the local tradition. Very welcoming and professional team, always willing to do what it takes to please and make sure guests truly enjoy their stay. A special attention is given to food preparation only using quality products. The result is excellent meals for breakfast and dinner. The premises are well maintained and you feel the staff is happily working there. A great place to reside on this charming island. Thank you to Miss B, Georges, and Ryan.

Would absolutely stay here again!!! Super relaxing, zen place. We didn’t rent a scooter but there are plenty of resteraunts within short walking distance. Hotel was accommodating to vegans and we had some of the best food and drinks of the trip here.

The best resort ever❣️. From the moment we got there it was spectacular and magical!! Resort was impeccable and perfect. The suite was out of this world. We had 2 huts, one with our living space and the other our bedroom suite with bath. So gorgeous and comfortable. Now the food……OMG …..OUT OF THIS WORLD🤪. So delicious, presented with plenty of smiles and food that melted in your mouth. Everything they presented before us was delicious and beautifully presented. Explained the ingredients and preparation. And the owner came and talked wines and spirits and they were spot on. We wanted a scooter to explore the island and the owner had it ready for us the next morning. We drove all over the island. Stopped at every shop and bar and restaurant we could find. So much fun! And the water…… just a few steps from our huts. The view with the mountains coming out of the ocean were breathtaking. We rented a scooter and drove all over. We visited other resorts but realized how wonderful our place was. We would definitely stay there again!

A paradise on an idyllic island! The service, food and facilities are excellent! The food in the restaurant is fabulous, and large portions so beware ordering too much! The staff can’t do enough to help you, a great place to relax and unwind!

What a pleasure Pavilions is to visit. Wonderful bungalows nestled in forest with easy access to the beach. Special shout out to the chefs who provided some of the best Thai dishes I’ve had. The management is very friendly and supportive. Many thanks to them all.

We stayed 9 days in a Beach Suite and we enjoyed every moment of it! The hospitality and kindness of everyone of the management and the staff, the quiet and peaceful environment, the super tasty and varied food, the beautiful bungalows, the gorgeous small islands around, you name it. We will return for sure !

Amazing, we had a amazing 5 night stay in Villa Yanat, We originally booked 3 nights but extended as we we didn’t want to leave! George was so lovely , welcoming & helpful. Stunning villa and grounds, great location to explore the island. Beautiful beach and we loved Koh Yai Noi. We rented scooters for our stay which George sorted for us and were delivered to our villa. Nothing was a hassle. Highly reccomend this place if you’re wanting a relaxing stay on this beautiful island in pure paradise! Thank you George and team, all so lovely. We will definatly return!

We had an incredible 5 nights here over Christmas 2023 with George and his wife Bee. We stayed in 'Mai Pai Cottage' which was perfect for our family. We have three teenager children and the space was incredible. The location is pure bliss and quite a treat following the rigours of Bangkok for 5 days. An unassuming entrance that just keeps giving at every turn. You can choose to be in you cottage which is nestled in lush green surroundings which provided shade where needed from the sun and a swimming pool that felt was exclusively ours to use, or you can walk the short distance to your private beach which had the most incredible views of Koh Nok and beyond. The location was paradise and is honestly the best accommodation we have ever stayed and we have travelled to many places in the world. Although slightly more expensive than our usual budget this was well worth it. The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with warmth and smiles which felt genuine. The restaurant was amazing and the food was incredible that in my view would suit any pallet. George and bee paid particular attention to all our needs and nothing was difficult to arrange from Taxi's, Bike hire or use of the Kayaks to paddle to Koh Nok on Christmas day. We hired bikes for the day and I have to say Koh Yao Noi is an incredibly beautiful island which we fell in love with and particularly enjoyed more than other islands we visited on this trip. I cannot rate this place highly enough and would definitely visit again. Thank you George and Bee

This place was amazing, from start to finish it was a little piece of paradise. George, Bee and the team were so welcoming and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, we were so looked after. The Tarra villa we stayed in was perfect, including the pool, cleanliness and location ( a little walk from restaurant and beach, and very secluded). Food was amazing, catering both for Thai and western tastes to high quality. We were sad to leave and hope to return one day. If you are looking for peace and tranquility in an authentic Thai location, I would highly recommend.

Great value for money. Cozy structure right on the beach. Staff super polite. Excellent Thai cuisine with generous portions. Swimming pool always clean. Facilities well attended. Georges, the manager, organized the transfer from the airport timely. We would go back.

We spent a wonderful week at this gorgeous place. The beach villas are perfectly designed and offer the highest comfort. The living room is actually open air and offers various sitting and lying possibilities, only a few meters from the beach. Also it is like all the beaches in Thailand a public one, you will hardly come across another person. From there you can paddle with the kayak to the amazing tiny island Koh Nok. Last but not least it was the lovely staff who made our stay even more precious. Georges, Bee and their team are just perfect hosts. I have also to mention the excellent restaurant, which offers a very good selection at a very fair price. Even the prices of the wine list are not demanding at all. We will be back for sure.

LITERALLY AMAZING! Outlived my expectations (but that might be because my husband booked the Pavillions! So I’d done less scoping!) The Accomodation is expansive. Huge bedrooms, two bathrooms and a full kitchen in our Maipai cottage as well as a separate veranda/pavilion with hammocks, a huge table, two seating areas overlooking a lovely pool shared with one other cottage. George and Bea were so helpful and arranged a tour for us and were on hand for lots of advice. A little walk to the restaurants and bars on the nearby beach or up on the road, would probably be no trouble without kids or older than ours (11&8) Taxis are readily available as long as you know where you want to go. Best bet would be mopeds or bikes which you can hire from the hotel. The bread at Breakfast felt like I was cheating in Asia. SOOOO good. The on-site restaurant was fabulous but there are also lots of other great places to eat on the island which is extremely peaceful and stunning. Much less party and more authentic island life.
