Ulasan Capsule Hotel - Alpine Garden Zurich Airport

The good thing is that the hotel is near the airport and can be easily reached. Upon arriving you need a code, no staff all self service. There was no explanation and the capsules are high and low level. I was given high level one which was not easy with suitcases, not sure if there was somewhere to store them but as I saw no staff hard to tell. Also felt claustrophobic and in the end I left without staying.

Our family of six stayed a the Capsule Hotel - Alpine Garden Zurich Airport to have a few hours to sleep comfortably between two connecting flight with an overnight layover. The Capsule Hotel is right at the airport in Zurich, easy to find, to access, to check in and out even at late or very early hours - everything is automated, so no personal contact is needed. When booking I could add that I would like the capsules to be adjacent to each other and received an email that that will be taken care of. So it was. The capsules were super clean, quite spacious (our cabin luggage fit in conveniently) and nicely set up, lighting was warm and for my taste perfect. It said that the air in the cabin is being exchanged 22 times a day, so the feel should be like the window in a room is always open. I had a quite good night. My husband and one of my kids felt like there was not enough oxygen in the capsule despite the air exchange. Obviously, we could hear the guest of the other capsules (altogether 26 in that room) come and go even though everyone tried to be as quiet as possible, but that was acceptable, given the fact that the capsule hotel concept includes coming and going whenever the respective flights arrive/depart. If you get an upper capsule you'll have to do a bit of an exercise to get up and down, but that's not so bad after all. 😉 Access to the capsules is via code that will be sent to you after check-in and is also access to the room where your block of capsules are in. There is a women and men bathroom, each set up nicely, with separate shower and changing cabins, a pile of floor mats to use, toilets, basins, mirrors - all was clean and looked very natural with a lot of wood being used for decorating/building. Altogether, I great concept, a convenient stay, I'm very glad that we could try it out! The next morning, we were at our check-in in no time - seriously cool!

One of the most advanced capsule hotel I have ever used. In capsule ventilation was too notch! It was lockable so all your valuables can just be stored there! Perfect!

Just make sure you know what you’re looking at when you book here. It’s a tiny little sleeping pod. Access is by taking the elevator below grade, walking through a corridor with vague signage directing you to the place, and then taking the elevator back to the ground floor. The little continental breakfast bar is tasty and inexpensive. The airport departure area is about 5 minutes walk. ( And two short elevator rides. )

Clean and conducive for short duration stay. Seamless check-in and check-out process.

Good for transferring flights, without more transportation issues and time waiting inside the cities.

A nice place for those who have an overnight layover. It’s right across the street from the airport and nearby a number of busses, trams, and trains that make reaching the city center very easy.

This capsule is at Zurich airport. It's a pretty standard capsule hotel that is overpriced simply by location. I only stayed here due to a Taylor Swift concert booking up most hotels in the city. Location was actually a bit of a walk from the arrivals hall and was a little difficult to find. Shower facilities were nice. Self check in machine didn't seem to work for me but could use it to check out.

Was a bit hesitant initially to book this place due to the price. However, it was a good stay for those who are having an overnight layover. The size was surprisingly very spacious and it’s manageable for tall people. I chose the lower level which was much easier to access compared to the higher levels. You can still hear people moving or snoring if their bed is close to you so just keep in mind.

The capsule was very clean and cosy. Facilities of the bathroom is conveniently located. Would be great if could provide mini kitchen for making coffee or tea and toast.

Great for a one night stay, especially if you arrive late at the airport.

Good location and staff are hospitality. The capsule are clean and bigger than my expectations. I am very appreciated.
