we had the opportunity to stay with my family in this wonderful hotel, the breakfast was great, the service was excellent, the room cleaning service did a fantastic job. all the staff were there to make your vacation unforgettable. the hotel has its own rocky beach with comfortable sunbeds and a unique view of the entire port. we stayed in suite 202 and it's really worth it!!! special thanks to the manager for his friendliness and availability in all our problems.

Located away from the main esplanade so you are not pestered by people trying to entice you into their restaurant. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The bar area is great to relax after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast is very nice with a selection of food.

Best positioned hotel on the island. Great breakfast, great staff, excellent swimming off the terrace. Relaxed stylish hotel. Rooms are comfortable. Plenty of cool shady seating areas, the bar is well stocked and comfortable,with reasonably priced food available

We absolutely loved our stay at the Megisti - it's difficult to fault. Good sizeable room, excellent aircon, superb breakfast and one of the best views in Greece across the harbour. Would like to give a special mention to Konstantinos who is a brilliant hotel manager, he couldn't have been more helpful. In fact all the staff were lovely and we would love to go back one day.

It’s just the best in a lot of ways. Great position, the views are wonderful and the busy harbour very entertaining especially when the very big ferry arrives! very nice rooms from basic to superior to the suites, we’ve tried them all. But the Staff are the best!

Megisti Hotel has it all. Idyllic location and full sea view of the beautiful Kastellorizo harbour. It is simple and yet tastefully luxurious. The staff is friendly and tends to your needs. Megisti is ideal for your zen meditation, swimming, exercise, or even work. Breakfast is a pure culinary experience. You will not want to leave the terrace or your room balcony. You don't even have to leave your bed to enjoy the view. The energy of this place is unique.

Megisti is a super nice hotel, probably in term of quality, location, price for service, the best in Kastellorizo. The terrace has direct assess to the sea in the best posssible area, as it is possible to immediately then swim in the wild and not in the port. Breakfast is absolutely amazing. Personnel was extremely supportive and kind, especially considering that we were travelling with a 3 years old baby. Only down side the dimension of the bathroom, a bit small.

Spent three nights here after travelling over from Kas,Turkey. Superb hotel where you were made very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The setting is stunning with wonderful views over Kastellorizo from bedrooms, terraces and breakfast terrace. Outstanding cleanliness everywhere.Breakfasts were 5*. The whole ambience was of peace and tranquility and we have booked for next year.

We are staying in the honeymoon suite. Even though we have been married for over 52 years. All the staff very helpful. Amazing views, with a laid back vibe. Highly recommend. Just returned from a special boat trip to the blue grotto. It is spectacular

Trying to help a friend residing in Paris to reserve a room I have tried several times to contact the hotel since I read the excellent reviews at tripadvisor and heard the rumors spread locally that second the aforementioned. For more than 5 days I tried to call them and made out absolutely O result.. Same did my friend with no result. Two weeks later I tried to reach them again in order to make a reservation for myself. It is now already the fourth day and I can not get a hold of them. A girl sometimes answers from Rhodes saying that my call was forwarded to her and I should call back.... ( she can not leep a message ). Kastellorizo is a very trendy island and I am sure Megisti is the best option but they ought not to sit on their laurels and tried to stand up to their obligations , like the not so difficult one of picking up the. It does not matter if you are fully booked or not, it does not matter if you have a lot of things to do at the time. It is inexcusable to have a hotel and behave that way. I feel embarrased by the hotel behavior against all my friend I have reccomended them too, like the one I mentioned who finally will not visit Kastellorizo because of that. I am writing this review in order to give the owners some food for thought on what their behavior should have been like and hope that they improve.

Our stay was truly paradise! This beautiful boutique hotel was more than we ever expected from the moment we arrived. Its location in the entrance to the harbour is serene and magical with a spacious deck to the sea where we swam in the calm silky water. The view from our balcony looked out to the spectacular view of the colourful traditional homes of the island. Breakfast was amazing with tropical fruits and eggs cooked to order plus a large assortment of buffet delights including Prosecco! The bar had every cocktail imaginable and also served a light lunch. Most importantly the staff made this venue the very best I have ever visited. From the on-site owner, the Front Desk Manager Anna, to the servers, housekeeping and bar staff. They were all welcoming helpful and personal. Even though it was our first visit we felt like we were return guests! If you are planning a visit to Kastellorizo be sure to book this hotel early as it’s usually “sold out” !

We would highly recommend this hotel from any point of view. Location and hospitality is awesome! View was excellent (full view of the harbor). Sea accessibility was very easy. Everybody was very kind and helpful. Can’t wait to visit this magic place asap.

We stayed at the Megisti for 3 nights in May 2023 and it was amazing. The staff were friendly and inviting, going out of their way to help us and make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was great with a variety of choices including omelettes to order. I will would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Kastellorizo to stay at the Megisti

We spent two nights at the Megisti..and I wish we had stayed longer. The tranquility of the sun terrace, the "chilled " feel to the bar area, the magnificent views all added to the experience. Anna, Rozz ( sorry about spelling ) were so helpful from the moment we arrived. All the staff were wonderful. The room was lovely as was the breakfast. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and the ambience of the Megisti from check in to check out is unbeatable. We shall certainly be returning next year. Altogether superb
