Fantastic hotel, well situated 5 mins walk from ski lift. Beautifully fitted. Excellent staff and outstanding meals. Fabulous views from the bedrooms. Would highly recommend. Easy access boot/ski store. Well cleaned rooms and very comfortable beds.

I would highly rate this hotel for its food and staff service. The location is great for skiing and in the heart of Kaprun. The spa and swimming pool facilities mean that there’s more to do than just skiing.

Das Alpenhaus is well located in the centre of Kaprun. Nice and clean hotel with excellent spa facilities. Friendly staff. The food was very good and tasty for both breakfast and dinner. Comfortable underground parking. Summer card is very useful and we saved a lot with it. We would definitely come back.

Second time at this hotel, and again a great experience: - comfortable rooms (even small ones) - very friendly staff - great food (self service breakfast with a really big choice and a lot of local food, self-service/served dinner) - afternoon snack included in half-board - big spa (I think 6 or more saunas, indoor pool, outdoor pool ...) - charging of electric car available in the hotel garage. The only thing I outdoor were normal coat hangers (not the hotel ones without a hook) and more heating radiators to dry ski clothes ... Location in centre of Kaprun is also great, but unfortunately, not many places are open at this time to go for a coffee or drinks in the evening at this time of year.

This hotel is located directly in Kaprun centre, and you can reach the slopes within 350 meters of the hotel. This is the most significant advantage of your winter holiday. The hotel is well equipped with a beautiful spa area divided into adults-only and family. They also have a big size swimming pool with a jacuzzi. Breakfast and dinner are slightly above average. But for us, it was the service of all members of staff that were very friendly and helpful.

The room had no WLAN (WiFi) connection. We brought it up to the management, and they refused to deal with the issue. They said that since WiFi was not something we needed to live there was nothing they could do. Upon our leave, they assumed that our devices were not configured correctly. However, we were able to use WiFi in the hall and lobby. The hotel technician also confirmed that there was no WLAN/WiFi in the room. Yet, no actions were undertaken. The room stank awfully from the WC. The people outside were partying and screaming till late at night. Delivery (or maybe some cleaning services) was being brought and unloaded at 5:40 on Tue morning under the windows.

We are an ordinary family. Me, my wife and 2 kids. We received confirmation in the mail that we will have rooms next to each other. They do not have a room next to each other on the day of arrival. So without apology the kids slept on the 1st floor and we slept on the 2nd floor. My wife didn't sleep almost all night. The next day there was a promise that we would get rooms with a balcony, a beautiful view, next to each other. No balcony, no beautiful view! The rooms were on the same floor but not next to each other. There was a promise to help us with the luggage. No help! No excuse! On the day of departure I checked the whole bill and the lady at the reception calculated the taxes for my child and she didn't have it. I almost lose 25Eur. Terrible behavior from receptionist and manager.

We stayed at this hotel between 12th June and 16th June as part of a tour group. We honestly cannot fault it. The staff were friendly, professional and courteous. Yes there was a blip one evening in the restaurant but it quickly resolved. The rooms were clean and welcoming, and remained that way. The food was very good, the swimming pools were again clean and welcoming. It's location is in the beautiful town of Kaprun surrounded by mountains. We are already planning to return there in the future on an independent trip. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

A truly hidden gem in Kaprun, I say in the mid range luxury-hotel category! All the service from the arrival to the check out, extra thanks to Rosie at the front-desk, Roland and Jean at the restaurant. They should receive an extra €500/week! :-) The entire staff was courteous and supportive! The furnishings and all decors are at extremely high end and totally reflected the property's relaxed vision. The all-inclusive breakfast buffet and cook-to-order choices are outstanding! The dinner menu was extensive and well prepared. Worth to mention, that EV's have excess to charge-up! Just let the front-desk know that you have an electric-car. Also only a 5 minutes walking to the chair-list for skiers. Highly recommended to all visitors!
