Ulasan SHIROYAMA HOTEL kagoshima

It was a wonderful stay. The hotel management was excellent, and the room was in great condition. I want to give a special mention to Miss Gotanda 五反田, who guided me after check-in. Her detailed explanations and warm smile set a positive tone even before I checked in. The hotel's hot spring overlooks Sakurajima volcano, enjoy hot spring while watching the sunrise was a truly delightful experience. I will definitely come back again next time.

A nice and comfortable hotel, but the only shortcoming is a bit far from the city. Have to take shuttle bus.

Second time here, just a classic. Superb view and breakfast. Japanese Restaurant in the hotel is very expensive compared to the quality and quantity of the food.

10/10 would stay again. Note the food is a little over priced for what you get but it was still delicious.

We love this hotel so much. The breakfast is so yummy and the bed is very comfortable too. The hot spring is superb. The view is beautiful even if rainy weather.

The hotel itself felt to be a little too rich and classy than what I’m normally used to (not a bad thing). I didn’t give the full 5 for location mainly since the hotel sits on top of a hill within the city, walking is kinda out of question unless your up for winding incline up and down the hill. There are included transportations though which is nice and the trade off being the gorgeous views of the city and volcano (sakurajima) that sits across the water. There are also included restaurants, stores, bath, lounges, and even a convenience store built into the hotel too which was nice.

My wife and I really loved the Onsen with a view of Sakurajima as published. Onsen cleanliness was good too. Buffet breakfast was so complete with both Japanese and western style. Free shuttle is quite frequent although still took some time to get to town nonetheless. But overall we loved our stay!

Grand experience at a good price.
