Check in took a while as there was only 2 counters open.
Clean room however sound proofing of room not too good - could hear fireworks from downstairs although i was on the 28th floor, and also people closing doors along the corridor.
Staff were friendly but front desk didn’t inform of facilities available or wifi details during check in, had to figure out ourselves.

Decent hotel, but smelt of smoke even if it is a non smoking room. Managed to get the housekeeper to bring an air freshener but no change of room. Took them more than an hr to bring it up.

Musky smell in the entire building, dim lighting and pretty shady looking from the outside. Small room. Bedsheets weren’t very clean and some stains were visible. Toilet is bare minimum.

Last check in 11.30pm but lucky staff welcomed me. Location and service good..

Location is superb. Host is superb. Sofa bed need to change. No more sponge. Toilet need to refresh. Old and not so clean: The rest is ok!

The room is very good, the surrounding environment is also good, the food court downstairs is not expensive, it's quite good. Especially Xiao Chen who received me was both considerate and professional, very good!

GGuest UserEverything about St. Giles is great except for the carpark and the crowd at breakfast. I went on a long weekends. It is difficult to find the entrance to the carpark and we have to circle round and round on the very jam road.
At breakfast we have to queue to get a table and it was so crowded, the food is not replenished fast enough and the clean plates, bowls and cups are difficult to come by. But I must say the staffs are hard at work to do the best they can which I appreciate it. Overall I had a great time and will come back again on a weekday :＞

GGuest UserWe really love the hotel from the facilities, to the service and the food, everything is worth the money!
As you enter the lobby, the kids can already play with the lego even if we haven't checked-in as we were waiting for the check-in time.
The room is very spacious and the best part of it is there is a separate room, bed and tv for the adults and the kids, which is a plus point because we had so much space to sleep and of course there is PEACE (for the parents out there) hahaha!
The kids also got excited with the treasure hunting, which they have to find the code for the lock of the box and they got lego sets as treasures.
There is a variety of food during the breakfast buffet (2 adults & 2 kids included for free in the booking, which is really good as we don't need to pay extra).
The food was delicious and our kids (surprisingly) love it!
The service is excellent and we had no problem dealing with the staff from the check-in to check-out.
We definitely recommend this hotel and we will surely go back!

KKaelyn Kang SFI’m surprised to find Fives Hotel is beyond my expectations. First time staying at Fives hotel and it has so much more to praise. Firstly, location is good as it is located opposite of Komtar shopping centre. You can cross the road from Komtar shopping centre by a traffic light. Secondly, safety is excellent as there is a security guard manning the entrance. You need access card to take the lift to access your room. There is a convenient store just right at the side of the hotel lobby. We stayed in a family room with 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. Breakfast is sufficient to fill your stomach. All in all, it is a relatively good hotel for its pricing as jt includes breakfast. Lobby smells good. I would strongly recommend all to give Five a try. I’ve stayed at most hotels near CIQ area, this is better that the hotel next to Fives. 😊

EEdedededededededThis was my second stay at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. While the location is a bit far from town, it really depends on where you need to go. For my trip, it was still quite convenient.
The staff were friendly and efficient, making both check-in and check-out quick and hassle-free. The room was spacious, clean, and had strong air conditioning, which was great for a comfortable stay.
One small but thoughtful detail was the carpark security staff saluting us every time we drove in and out, it was a warm and welcoming gesture that added a personal touch to our stay. Would definitely consider staying again :)

JJef AngVery good location, just opposite Bukit Indah Aeon Shopping centre and next to Macdonald's.
But Facilities wise is not ideal.
Gym very small, only got 4 equipments.
Located on ground floor and outside hotel.
Swimming pool also just next to the GYM.
You need to walk out of the lobby, out of the hotel to go to the pool and GYM.
Yet hotel do not provide bathrobe so I don't know how the guest access the facilities.
If rain even worst, no shelter linking the GYM and the lobby.
10th floor supposed to have a Club Lounge and staff told me no longer available...
Food wise is fair.
Some food like pau and hard boiled eggs are cold even tot they are on warmers...
Room wise above average as bed got a bit of light stains and cigar burnt mark.
Toilet glass door silicon already gone.
Face towel not provided.
Got shower gel and shampoo dispenser.

VValerie horThe front desk lady don’t understand English that giving me the same room 25-40 as I mention I lost my underwear last week 06/-07 April while I staying in the room .
Given me the same room 25-40
The room aircon is spoiled make me can’t sleep well due the the room is hot .
I called to the counter dial 0
She mentioned will ask maintenance to come over In the middle of the night but the aircon are not fix .
Morning I called again to the front desk and ask to change other room .
Due to I can’t sleep well there are no aircon and the bed are itchi .
I extend the stay in the hotel I paid $214 and changed to 25-28 but the room I found some  cockroach inside the room.
That is so  terrible.
They given me room that smell or fishing smell and the pillow case got stain and I check out the room in the night time and when back to Singapore and rest . 10.30pm
I don’t know did the housekeeping change the  bedsheet and pillowcase ?
Can the  management take a lookout?
On the cctv ?
I know the ksl  hotel are huge but bedsheet and pillowcase should change cause that is unhygienic
That are not a joke at all . Thanks

I recently stayed at the Ramada Meridin Johor Bahru and had a wonderful experience.

RRyn_Well maintained overall. Comfortable beds, easy to use room amenities. Some water stains on amenities and had to call housekeeping to replenish things on second night. Gym facilities were quite used and shaky. Swimming pool looks clean for kids. Hotel location looks suburban hence away from hustle of city.

JJoeTmVery basic hotel near City Square. To reach the hotel, you can go through the Zenith lifestyle mall opposite Komtar on the 2nd floor and turn left. The streets are brightly lit and some eateries still opened so I don't feel unsafe. Stayed for just 1 night. Room was not very big but sufficient for 1 person. Tv has Sg channels which was a plus for me. Shower gel n shampoo does not feel good, so I used the soap instead. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was consistent. Drinking water can be obtained at the water dispenser. No toilet paper provided when I checked into the room and took a while for them to deliver after my request.
