This is our second time staying at the Peacock hotel in Xishuangbanna. We are very satisfied with the twin bedrooms coupled with river view provided during our stay at the hotel. Breakfasts are fantastic, delicious with lots of varieties whether Asian or European foods, including fruits. Staff are extremely helpful, friendly with professional service. Overall we had a wonderful and happy stay at the hotel and we hope to come back at the same hotel again in Xishuangbanna next year!

The air conditioner has only one air outlet, it is extremely hot at night, the temperature cannot be lowered, and I cannot sleep all night due to the heat! The sunshade on the bathtub side is a gauze curtain, which is very transparent. It affects sleep when it is cold in the morning! The hotel temporarily used a bed sheet as a blanket, which was very simple and useless! The breakfast was cold! The fruit is not fresh! The shampoo was difficult to use, the shower was slow and took ages to get hot water! I asked for matches at two o'clock in the afternoon and it took three times until nine o'clock in the evening before I got them! Terrible service! No service at all! Not a single gift project was given! No special cocktails were given! There was also a step next to the bed in the room, and I almost fell when I got up to go to the toilet at night! This room is like a hair salon! Very bad stay experience! Will never live here again! Highly not recommended!

Stayed for 4 nights, it's hard to describe. First, I asked the butler for some water. I ordered for 4 days, a box of 12 bottles. It’s not too much to ask for a whole box directly. We have two adults and one child, so only 4 bottles of drinking water of about 500ml a day? It was the first time I encountered a hotel that was unwilling to provide drinking water and asked guests to drink tap water without pre-filtration (Figure 1). When I booked the hotel, it was 600 yuan per night, and it was not cheap for a 5th or 6th tier city after the Spring Festival (according to the local driver's own evaluation). Speaking of hygiene, from the time I checked in to the time I left, there was a pool of what looked like old vomit in front of the toilet (Figure 2). No one had dealt with it, and I could see it every time I went to the toilet. It was really embarrassing. I suggest you not use the "one-touch light off" function in the room, as it will turn off the bathroom exhaust as well, and then you'll be woken up by the stench of the sewer in the middle of the night. I later used a plastic bag filled with water to block the floor drain (Figure 3), but it didn't work. It should be the smell from the toilet, it was really too stinky! During the four days, the aunt only adjusted the quilt on one day, and on the other days she just changed two garbage bags. I would like to ask, can I get a refund for a hotel with no service, poor hygiene, and a room full of odor?

The check-in was disorganized. For breakfast, a child sat there and didn't eat anything, but they still charged 68 yuan, and there were not many varieties. The auntie below was so arrogant! Both elevators take a long time to wait each time! I stored my luggage when I checked out, and I waited for a long time but no one showed up to pick it up. I called the front desk but still had to wait. I was in a hurry to catch my flight, so I went in to pick it up myself! There is indeed an infinity pool on the roof, but it is not as exaggerated as described in the reviews. I doubt the authenticity of Ctrip's reviews. As a Ctrip member for 20 years, I always book rooms and itineraries according to the introductions and reviews. I am really sorry this time!
