Ulasan Akazawa Onsen Hotel

A very good onsen hotel that I recommend to visit once! The room was clean. Ukata was beautiful. The Japanese kaiseki dinner was tasty, but my daughter doesn’t like it as she is not a sea food eater. But I am! Onsen was relaxing! Breakfast with a sea view was amazing! I strongly recommend this hotel and appreciate them for accommodation!

If you plan to stay in this area, you’ll need your own transport, like a rental car. The breakfast buffet has lots of tasty options and comes with a nice sea view in the morning. The private onsen costs JPY 3,500 per hour, and the experience was excellent. The front desk staff are very polite and friendly. Many local Japanese people choose this hotel for their vacations.

Was having high expectations for this place due to recommendation on social media. Was bit disappointing as the service n meal 🥘 menu provided is quite normal nothing out of ordinary, not as those reviews mentioned. The balcony view though is great oceanic view. Nothing much outside the resort so 1 day stay is good enough

The onsen hotel has 3 buildings and each has their own onsens. We went to the day tripper onsen, which is the best. The onsen at main building (roof top) is small with only one bath space and the wall is covered with mould. Dinner and breakfast were good. The hotel is near jogashaki coast and mt omuro, about 20 mins drive. We booked a room with private onsen and enjoyed it thoroughly

It was a wonderful experience to be able to see the endless ocean from the hot spring bath. The breakfast buffet and dinner were also delicious.

The room is large, facing the sea, with shuttle bus. The public hot spring is not crowded, comfortable. I booked a private bath for 3300 yen, which can be used for one hour. The day-return hot spring next door has a restaurant. The front desk is friendly.

You can only drive there. The facilities are OK. You can see the Pacific Ocean when you open the curtains in the room. The main building is a combination of accommodation, dining, entertainment and hot springs. There is an infinity pool facing the sea on the top floor of the 7th floor, but it costs 3,000 yen per person per day. The swimming pool on the 4th floor is also an outdoor infinity pool and is free of charge. I personally feel there is no difference. The South Building can be reached through the internal passage of the main building. There are no guest rooms, but everything else is the same.

The hotel room is large, with tatami mattresses and a separate lounge facing the sea. The hotel has 3 hot springs. Since I stayed for 2 nights, I only experienced one hot spring. The hot spring environment is good, there are not many people, and the water quality is good. The kimonos in the hotel room are very comfortable and beautiful. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the train station for pick-up, which is very convenient to go to the scenic spots. It is recommended to take the hotel shuttle to the train station, take a taxi to the Monkyo Suspension Bridge and Jogasaki Coast, take a bus from Jogasaki Coast (Ocean Park) directly to Omuroyama, and then take a bus from Omuroyama to the train station. The hotel is clean and hygienic, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is rich and delicious, and it is recommended to eat dinner at the hotel's day-return hot spring, which has a wide variety and reasonable prices. This is a hotel worth recommending

Izu, a place you don't want to leave after you come~ The first time I went to Izu, I didn't go very deep, leaving a foreshadowing for the next time. On the fourth day of the ***** New Year, I took the tram from Hakone to Izu Kogen Station on the Izu Peninsula. The train went along the coast, and the scenery was picturesque all the way. When you arrive at Izu Kogen Station, there is a hotel bus that can shuttle to Akasawa Onsen Hotel in the direction of the platform parking lot. The ride takes about 15 minutes. You don't need to get off when you pass by Akasawa One-Day Hot Spring on the way. The next stop is the hotel. In fact, the two places are not far apart. There is a corridor in the hotel for passage. Guests staying in the hotel can enjoy the one-day hot spring for free. Akasawa Onsen Hotel is under DHC. There are several hot spring hotels in the entire Akasawa Onsen Village. Akasawa Onsen Hotel is considered to be a relatively large one. It provides one meal and two nights. If you don't want to dine in the hotel, there are also restaurants nearby to choose from. Going to Omuroyama and Izu Zoo requires a shuttle bus back to Izu Kogen Station and then taking a taxi. It sounds a bit troublesome, but it is actually acceptable, and it takes much less time than taking the bus. The taxi costs about 100 RMB. Although the internal facilities of Akasawa Onsen Hotel are a bit old, it does not affect the experience, especially the hot springs by the sea, which is definitely worth it.

The hotel has a nice view and is close to the sea. There are snacks when you check in and they are replenished every day, but the room is not cleaned. The towels and snacks you need will be hung on the door handle. The breakfast is still good. Sashimi is free, and pineapple, orange and lychee are free. If you want to soak in the rooftop open-air hot spring for free, please note that it is no longer free from 6-10 am. From 7 am, it is all charged. The hotel bus will not be available until after 9 am. If you want to get up early to go to the scenic spot, you can take I39·I85 and get on the bus from Fushan Station to Izu Kogen Station. There are two large supermarkets near Izu Kogen Station, MaxVaLu and Na***a. You can buy daily necessities and food and drinks, and then take the hotel bus back.
