"It’s a very charming place with a real wabi-sabi atmosphere - simple, quiet, and full of nostalgic beauty. Quite old-fashioned, but well maintained. This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well) . When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls. Overall, it doesn’t stop you from having a great rest. However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners. When we checked out, they kindly drove us back to the station. I left with a complete sense of relaxation. Thank you!"

"Pros: The room with a private hot spring bath was quite spacious, offering the experience of both a Japanese-style tatami mat and a regular bed. On the second floor, there are two washing machines and two dryers available; you can exchange 100-yen coins at the front desk to use them. The distance to Ito Station is decent, and along the way, you'll pass MaxValue (Aeon) and 7-Eleven, where you can stock up on water and snacks. There's also a handmade soba restaurant that tastes pretty good. The room was generally clean, and the price was reasonable, comparable to hot spring hotels in China, and possibly even cheaper during the off-season, with more convenient transportation. Cons: If it rains when you're heading to the hotel, carrying luggage can be quite a hassle. The hotel doesn't provide many disposable amenities, such as bottled water, combs, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The hotel's decor is quite classic, the lighting isn't very bright, and the worst issue of all was the sewer smell from the toilet."

"It looks like an apartment building. It was probably originally an apartment building. The rooms are very spacious. We stayed in a standard room for two people, and in addition to two bedrooms, there was a large living room, a Japanese-style room, a kitchen, and even a washing machine. You can lay out futons in the Japanese-style room, so there's plenty of room for four people, and it would be comfortable for groups or families. However, the entrance to the room is on an outside corridor, so in the scorching heat, you have to go outside to get to your room for meals or baths. The bath has an open-air bath, an indoor bath and a sauna, and although it didn't feel particularly spacious, the baths were never full during our stay. I don't know if this is typical of Ito's hot springs, but the water didn't have any particular characteristics. There was no lotion, and the amenities weren't particularly extensive. In the lobby, there are game rentals, free drinks and free ice cream. There is a shop, but it is very small. Late-night ramen is served. Meals are buffet style, and in addition to steak, crab and tempura, there is plenty of seafood unique to Ito. The number of dishes is not that large, but it was satisfying. If you don't mind that it's a hotel that resembles an apartment building, and that there are some uneven surfaces and signs of wear and tear, the rooms are spacious and the buffet is satisfying."

"Located at the foot of Mount Omuro, the hotel is in a rather remote location, so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're not driving. The rooms are a bit old, but the scenery is still quite nice. The hotel has both indoor and outdoor hot springs, which is a great feature."
