Kilya Hotel

Nice room with excellent view of the Black Sea shoreline. The breakfast was great. A few nice eating places in walking distance.

What a lovely seaside hotel in the heart of the Turkish coastline that is a local coastal resort area - not really made for international ( English speaking) tourists - but everyone was friendly and had google translate and were impressed two Aussies were there staying and enjoying the tiny little town and restaurants. We stayed one day/night at this hotel, the pool is great -overlooking the ocean and there's a restaurant on-site and outside up the street in the little town. The room was comfy, the wifi strong and the balcony was magic overlooking the ocean. Tea/coffee facilities in the room and 24 our reception. We were lucky to have a LOVELY English-speaking lady at reception who was very very helpful and friendly and spoke English and gave us a later check out of 4pm and booked our taxi back to Istanbul airport and was so kind to us. She really made a difference to our stay and we thank her! The hotel is great, good location and has a fantastic breakfast spread and you can sit overlooking the pool and the ocean. We chose to stay here because we had 30 hours back in Istanbul before our longhaul flight back to Australia - so instead of staying at an airport hotel we made the 17 minute taxi ride to this hotel and it was worth it - a lovely little town, pool and by the ocean. They don't provide sheets on the beds so you have to ask for sheets to sleep under, but other than that - this hotel is great and we didn't have any issues.

For my first post-Covid visit to Turkey, a regular destination where I have dear friends, I went straight from the airport to Hotel Kilya, a real favourite, and just a 40 minute drive. The Kilya is a small, quiet, friendly establishment, with a lovely pool and beautiful clifftop view over the Black Sea. The tiny village, below, has a modest choice of restaurants, most specialising in fish, but no bars so no rowdiness. The rooms are small, neat and spotless, there is a well equipped gym, a very good garden restaurant and fabulous burgers served by the pool. A perfect six days, before the chaos of Istanbul.

Deniz manzaralı odada bir gece konakladık. Tertemiz, bakımlı ve her şeyin düşünüldüğü konforlu odalar, sabah güne uyandığınızda şahane bir manzara, çok zengin bir kahvaltı, çok güzel ve temiz bir havuz, şık şezlonglar, su sıcaklığını ayarlayabildiğiniz duşlar, rengârenk çiçeklerle bezenmiş huzur veren bir bahçe, yemyeşil orman manzarası... Ünlü beachlere yakın, plaja ve balıkçılara yürüme mesafesinde, çok güzel bir lokasyonda yer alan otelin çalışanları da son derece ilgili, güler yüzlü ve işlerinde profesyonel. Otelin müdavimleri var, kendilerini evlerinde gibi huzurlu hissettiklerini söylüyorlar. Kız kıza da, tek başına da rahatlıkla gelinip kalınabilir. Gökhan Bey'e, Oğuz Bey'e ve Özge Hanım'a gösterdikleri özen ve misafirperver tutum için ayrıca teşekkür ederim. Kilyos'a artık daha sık geleceğimi ve başka bir otel seçeneği olmaksızın memnuniyetle Kilya'da kalacağımı düşünüyorum. Her şey için teşekkürler.
