Hotel dengan Wifi di Turpan

Shanshan is a small town and if you do come here, it would be to visit the Kumtaq desert. The desert is 15-20 minutes from the hotel, so is the Shanshanbei railway station. I recommend this hotel because of the service of the front desk staff, Ms Xiaoba who goes above and beyond to help. She was responsive on wechat and organised a car to pick us up, she willingly booked a taxi for as we couldn’t find the address to the night market on our DIDI app., she provided extra water and answered any questions with a smile. This is a new hotel so looks clean and fresh with a smart toilet. They even have tents/ tepees so if you have a kid, this is a welcome. I saw a room with spiderman and Barbie princess theme too. The breakfast has many Chinese options and they are well cooked and delicious. They do have a coffee machine. I’d stay here again if I were to revisit. Kumtaq Desert is worth a visit and the second golf cart/sightseeing mini bus drives you right to the end and brings you back to the second station. The other deserts we visited didn’t have this. Small town, big heart, great service, amazing people! VA

The locations is nice, close to or in the grape valley, service is friendly, we stayed at the family room which is a duplex and had a good sleep. For the high price of 1.200 Yuan would have expected lights at entrance area of complex, more luxurious reception area (currently more Chinese boarding house style), bedside tables with lights, more than a basic breakfast. It’s a nice place for 300-500 max, for 1200 you usually get a luxury resort and service in China.

Location very good in the city centre. You can walk to the museum and lake in a few minutes. Lots of restaurants and a good supermarket minutes away. Staff at check in very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good, if you like Chinese style. Room was spacious and modern. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in for a long time! Aircon was reasonable - temperatures outside were still quite mild for Turpan. However, if I was booking in the summer months I would check reviews on Trip beforehand to make sure it was coping with the high temperatures. No fridge in the room, which was a surprising for a modern 4 star hotel and would be another disadvantage in the summer months there. Breakfast only starts at 0800. On the day I left, I had to get a taxi at 0750. The lovely ayis in the kitchen gave me a box of food to go and slept encouraging me to take even more food! However, no one was on at reception at that time! Overall, good in many areas but needs to improve in others.

First and foremost, this hotel accepts foreigners. The hotel is quite ok but not great. I booked a no-window non-smoking room (don’t do it, go for room with window) because I thought there is more chance people still smoke in non-smoking rooms with windows. The first room they gave me, put the key card on and electricity didn’t work. Waited for them to check with no result so I was relocated to another room. It’s non-smoking but I can clearly smell the smoke. Took 2 days for the smoke smell to go away which is a pity. The room is small but enough for a solo like me. Each floor they built 4 lines of rooms, the 2 middle lines stay wall-to-wall to each other and are the ‘no-window’ rooms. I would definitely recommend you to choose the room with window, because it means you don’t share a lot of ‘walls’ to other room and have a window to open at least for circulation if room is smelly or if room is too hot. In my case, my room smells smoke, and the room heater system only allows 34-37 degree celsius which is crazy! Very hot if turned on so I had to turn it off the whole time I stay at the hotel. Even though it is winter time, the whole hotel is already on heater. Unable to adjust room temperature is annoying because it means no air circulation. There is a blowing machine (similar to a fan) in the room but it is not efficient quickly enough. The room feels extremely suffocating. I did really wish for a window. Also because the no-window rooms share 3 walls with other rooms (not counting the upper floor), it’s more bad-luck chances for weird noise. In my case, I had to endure one whole freaking night with 2 loud Uyghur couples who cannot hold themselves back from banging the freak out and making all kinds of terrible terrible noise. Seems like no soundproof for these walls.

Hotel bintang 4 ini memiliki peringkat yang baik di Trip.com dan saya mengerti alasannya. Namun, saya menyamakan hotel ini dengan mobil mewah berusia 20 tahun seperti BMW seri 7 E36 atau Lexus LS 430. Luar biasa dan megah saat baru, tetapi cepat tua dan kusam. Sekilas, kamar-kamarnya tampak megah dan mewah, tetapi jika diteliti lebih lanjut, ada beberapa masalah. Salah satunya adalah karpetnya, yang sangat membutuhkan pembersihan uap dengan tingkat ketelitian yang tinggi, atau bahkan penggantian total. Beberapa bagian sudah usang dan pudar, *****tara banyak barang-barang aneh dapat ditemukan (dan terasa dengan kaki telanjang), yang tampaknya luput dari perhatian staf kamar, misalnya tusuk gigi dan sampah lain-lain yang dibuang oleh tamu sebelumnya. Saya memesan kamar double kontinental seharga $68 AUD per malam dan ada ketidaksejajaran pintu dengan kusennya. Cukup besar untuk melihat ke luar! Kamar ini berisi sofa. Cukup nyaman tetapi kainnya sudah sangat usang. Cat veneer putih di meja sudah usang. Meskipun demikian, secara keseluruhan, hotel ini menawarkan kamar dengan standar yang relatif tinggi. Perabotan yang indah, tempat tidur dan bantal yang besar dan sangat nyaman, kamar mandi yang luas dengan tekanan air yang memadai dan air panas yang responsif sesuai permintaan (kamar mandi memiliki pengaturan pencahayaan pintar yang menyala melalui sensor). Terdapat belasan kontrol individual untuk pencahayaan ruangan. Banyak lemari, laci, dan stopkontak jika diperlukan. Terdapat pusat kebugaran, tetapi karena alasan yang tidak diungkapkan saat ini tutup, per Februari 2024. Terdapat restoran prasmanan dengan beberapa tamu yang makan di dalamnya dan stafnya tampak sangat baik. Resepsionis akan berusaha keras untuk membantu mengatur tur, memesan taksi, dll., dan berusaha memastikan para tamu puas. Singkatnya, hotel ini terlihat bagus dan sampai batas tertentu memang bagus, tetapi mungkin tidak sepadan dengan membayar $50 AS per malam untuk menginap dan sedikit mengecewakan.
