"nice hotel, great amenities. There was a problem with my booking and it seemed that they said it was my fault. I don’t how it could be but they took the position it was me who had to fix it. Also there doesn’t seem to be a consistent hotel policy for travellers with bicycles. I stayed at there different Route Inn and tow it was no problem but this one it was. still a very nice stay."

"We booked 2 nights,but we checked out early.I didn’t expect toilet and shower room are separate or common .it’s very inconvenient to us and so noisy because of the construction.you need to carry your luggage from 1st floor to 2nd floor.And i was surprised while we sleeping that morning staff open the door for cleaning 😡😡😡"

Nevertheless, I was impressed by the staff's consideration and kindness and the way they did their best to give even 10 stars less. "This was the only place we stayed at in Japan that had a stove, it was a nice break from hotel rooms. It looks just like the pictures. Just a random tip for others: We planned to cycle the shimanami but couldn't at the end of the day. We took the ferry to Setoda and tried to take a bus from there to the accomodation but the busses don't travel between the islands. Uber and Go don't operate there. We ended up walking over the bridge between the islands and asked the people at the Cyclist Sanctuary to phone us a taxi."

"After cycling to the end of our journey, we checked into our hotel and soaked in the large hot tub in our room. Enjoying a sumptuous meal in the scenic restaurant, watching the view from dusk till night, was truly delightful. There was so much food that we couldn't finish it all, and we needed help from others. Sitting on the tatami mats in our room, we could see the ocean whirlpools and the bridge leading to Imabari. The hotel service was excellent, and our whole family felt it was a fantastic stay and meal. (I'm very curious about how the hotel's shampoo and conditioner kept our hair smooth and frizz-free all day—even that excited us!)"
