Comfort Suites Pau Idron

Stayed here for 4 nights in June 2023 in room 08. The property is pretty typical of the apartment style hotels that are very common in France though this one felt a little neglected in some ways. My room was a good size with a living area with a single bed, table and couple of chairs, a desk and TV and then an alcove with a double or queen size bed. There was a small kitchenette and a bathroom and while it was ok it had a few problems. On my first night there was a leak from the kitchen sink which was fixed the next day which was great. The little fridge had the rails that stop things falling off the shelves on the door missing so they were useless and there was a very strange rug in the middle of the living area that was too big for the space and was a tripping hazard and I can only assume that it was there to cover some thing on the carpet underneath it as there is no way a hotel would put that down. The room was just very tired with stains on the heaters, hairdryer and other things. There was free parking and a big supermarket and a few other shops in a small shopping centre opposite the hotel but a car would be needed if you were staying here. The air-conditioning and wifi worked well and there was a self-service laundry which is always handy when travelling. Overall it was a very basic property.
