Lythwood Lodge

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely countryside setting. Cottages are spacious and modern with fireplaces for cold nights. The restaurant served delicious food for dinner and an incredible breakfast spread. Thanks to Amanda in reception for going the exra mile to make us happy.

The place is beautiful, clean and neat. We received a warm welcome at the reception and we were give the best room, Honeymoon room. The room was very nice and big, with nice relaxing view. comfortable bed. Every nice they came to warm our bed and brought chocolate. The breakfast was delicious with lot to choose from. I really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. I'm recommending this place to anyone who wants to relax, unwind away from home

Where do I start, Lythwood far exceeded our expectations. My wife and I chose to visit Lythwood for our anniversary. I requested something special to be done in our room and it was over and above what I expected, to add to that they upgraded us to the Honeymoon suite. Much appreciated. We arrived a bit late but the staff and dining room staff were patiently waiting for us and super friendly with excellent service. Our dinner was devine and so was our breakfast. The room was clean, spacious, modern, stunning, luxurious, cosy and had everything we needed and more. It is a very relaxing and quiet place. The location is scenic and well maintained. Both my wife and I were very impressed by Lythwood Lodge.

What an incredible experience we had there! It was a last minute booking and we had never heard of Lythwood before. What a surprise to arrive as such a beautiful spot! The staff are simply wonderful!! The dinner was exceptional and our little chalet was beautiful, clean and the staff even do a ‘turn down’ in the evening. I highly recommend for a stop over or if you just need to chill!! Will definitely go back there.

Our recent stay at Lythwood Lodge certainly did not disappoint at all!!!!The service received was impeccable, from the moment you check in to the date you checkout. Both management and staff work in tandem, like a well oiled machine. The food was absolutely divine as always and the rooms both neat and clean and always well maintained. I would highly recommend Lythwood Lodge whether you looking for a wedding venue that wont disappoint to a family getaway with all the comforts and spoils, this is your place!!!! On this website this hotel is a PET FRIENDLY property. We booked a Pet Friendly room but upon arrival were told the room we booked was not pet friendly. They wanted us to move to a much smaller room which we refused to do. They then told us that we would not be allowed in the dining or bar area with our puppy and if we wanted to order anything we would have to stay in our room and order room service. To get to this property you have to drive through an unsavoury area, we could not risk driving to a dinner venue in the dark unsafe roads. So our stay consisted of sitting in our room with no view as the walls are too high to see over. Needless to stay we left after 1 night instead of staying the weekend. It was a week to celebrate my recovery from breast cancer so very disappointing. The only positive was that the reception staff were very helpful, apologetic and kind. The management were awful, they did not bother to even greet us and we also overheard them complaining about us that we had a dog.

I really enjoy the Lodge. Perfect for Self catering and they really pay attention to the little details. Home made delicious biscuits every night, setting up the fire and making sure the chalet is warm for your return. They also supply you with firewood and we were gifted an amazing bottle of wine when we left. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return

This is our 4th visit to Lythwood, two of which have been in the past 6 months. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every single member of staff was outstanding 😊. When we arrived, we were welcomed warmly. They had remembered us from our previous visit.🤷‍♀️😊. The food is first class as well.

We recently got married at Lythwood Lodge and it was a very memorable and amazing weekend. We stayed there for two nights and booked out the lodge for our guests. John and his team were amazing. The staff were extremely hospitable and friendly, the food was delicious and the accommodation was comfortable. Lythwood has various locations on site when it comes to having the ceremony and reception, and they are all beautiful options to choose from. The lodge offered all of our guests a cozy and fun experience and staying for two nights turned our wedding day into a wedding weekend event with close families and friends to celebrate with all weekend long! John was fantastic throughout our wedding planning journey, and gave good guidance and ideas to use on the day as well as followed a 30 page wedding plan given to him and his team for the day! The venues for the ceremony and reception were perfect and scenic and everything was done beautifully. We couldn't have envisioned a more perfect day or weekend. Thank you very much to John and his team for making our day incredibly special and beautiful, we could not have chosen a better location to get married and spend the weekend with our families and friends!
