Hotel dengan Hot Tub di Yufu

This is a boutique hotel with only 5 rooms, the small one is more than 70 square meters, and the large one is more than 100 square meters. The price is relatively expensive, but we were fully booked during our stay. The hotel is located in a layered garden with a very sense of design. There is a small green landscape outside each room. The room has a living room, dining room, bedroom, bathroom, toilet, large pool hot spring, shower room and sauna room, and two small platforms. The wine, snacks, ice cream, etc. in the bar are all free. There is also a one-hour free spa. Breakfast is in its own restaurant. We stayed for two nights. The first dinner was in its own restaurant. The second night was in the hotel's exclusive restaurant that was not open to the public. The Japanese chef only served us and our husband. We have absolute private space and will not meet other guests in the hotel. When we checked in, the hotel had just opened for 3 months and was still in the running-in period, but we could feel that the staff were very dedicated and wanted to provide the best service. Our account manager and housekeeper Eliena was very thoughtful, available at any time, and had no problem communicating in English. Question: 1. The room design needs to consider the safety of customers. For example, the bed in the bedroom is on a half-foot high platform. Although there is a floor lamp, it is easy to step on empty space when getting up at night. In addition, there are three steps from the bedroom to the hot spring, bathing and other areas. The steps are cement gray. Although not high, they are easy to be ignored. 2. Although there is a glass partition door, the hot spring water and hot spring related equipment are quite loud at night. It is very uncomfortable to fall asleep on the first night. Guests with sleep problems can negotiate with the hotel to turn off the hot spring at night so that the water will not flow.

Our room was with the private onsen, very good Dinner n breakfast was great, location is about 8 min walk to the busy street, old style Japanese tatami room, welcome drinks is served with bowl quite interesting

It’s an above and beyond hot spring hotel designed by Japanese well known architect. The design is outstanding, peaceful and stylish, especially love the firefly lamp inside the room. Served by professional staff who carry friendly smiles, delicious traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. I was attracted by KOLs to try the beef rice in the shopping street. It took me an hour in the queue, but then I found out the even better beef rice was already tasted at hotel dinner. Enjoy staff-led morning exercise and DIY handmade workshop. I did even enjoy solo outdoor hot spring under snowing. What a perfect stay at Kai Yufuin

Very nice well kept traditional ryokan. If you are expecting modern do not stay here. Hotels like these are older and have been around for many years but are well maintained. I love sleeping on tatami - I slept for 10 hours! Unfortunately I felt a bit dumbfounded when the dinner included is just ramen. On the trip.com photos there are two photos of meals and I assumed one was dinner and the other breakfast. Maybe this use to be the case but trip/ the hotel should specify better what is being served. Especially in small towns there aren’t many dinner options - there is an Aeon (supermarket) a short walk of course if you’d like a bento dinner instead. Also no wifi in the room. As an international traveler I had to up my esim data for the day. They don’t advertise wifi in the room - they have it in the lobby so it wouldn’t be hard to get an extender to the rooms. The onsen was nice however I found the outside onsen made a lot of noise- I’ve been to many onsen and this was the first that ever made noise from the filter so it wasn’t as relaxing as it could have been. Overall decent stay but probably wouldn’t go back

This hotel is truly exceptional. The food was phenomenal, with a diverse menu that featured exquisite dishes made from the finest ingredients. We booked two rooms, and both hot springs were outdoors. It was a unique experience to soak in the hot spring while looking at the mountains and forests. A few steps away was the forest, and there were deer. The breakfast and dinner were also very rich, and the kaiseki cuisine was colorful and high quality. The only thing was that there was a noticeable sound at night, which seemed to be the sound of wild animals. I asked the store owner, it might be a weasel... In short, it was a very good experience in a natural hot spring hotel.

Located in a quaint little town which is about 1.5km away from Yufuin Station. Everything was perfect about this little Onsen Hotel/Inn and the food was beyond words could describe! The only downside was to get to and fro the hotel from Yufuin Station. Taxi will set you back ¥800 per way. Bus will only take you about 750m and you got to walk the rest of the distance upslope to the hotel. On the day of departure from the hotel, we pre-arranged a taxi to pick my wife and I up at 8.40am for our 9.07am train to Kumamoto and we were only informed that all taxi bookings were full at 8am. My wife and I had a hasty but tasty breakfast before making our way downslope, onto the Main Street to Yufuin Station. An early morning Route March some would call it. 😂 Thank you Yuhri for giving us the best of your service and the private Onsen was more than perfect too!

This hot spring hotel is highly recommended. I must stay here every time I come. It has good privacy, elegant environment, delicious food, and considerate service. Although the price is expensive, the experience is perfect.

Four people stay, the experience is very good, there is a swimming pool, hot spring facilities are all complete (free to see online). The sanitation is one star because there will be some bugs on the ceiling of the outdoor pool in the morning and noon, but when I come back at night, I don’t know if the staff has come or flew away. If you want to go to the pool during the day, there is pesticide on the table and you can spray it yourself.

The hotel is in a great location. Just walk left and about 100 meters from Yufuin Station. The front desk is a coffee shop, and the breakfast area for guests is also open to the public. The room is upstairs, which is a relatively new Western-style layout. It is most suitable for 4 people to stay in, and up to 2 beds can be added to accommodate 6 people. The room is fully equipped. There is a hot spring downstairs. Men and women soak in different time periods, so arrange the time well. The hot spring is very new and clean, and the skin is really smooth after soaking. The hotel service is very good. The first day we arrived was Sunday. There was a ********* girl at the front desk, so the communication was very smooth. I didn't see her on the second and fourth days, but I really felt that our Chinese girls are capable and smart. I paid a little attention to it. The service process of several other Japanese girls is not as calm and responsive as her. It is also convenient to eat, drink and shop around, and it is also convenient to walk to Yuzhiping Street. This hotel is very suitable for family trips or multiple friends to stay. Good reviews!
