Hotel Hot Springs Ureshino

This time when I arrived in Saga, I stayed at Ureshino Onsen Hotel ~ Daishoya, which was a really great experience. The hotel includes breakfast and dinner, and the ingredients are fresh and delicious, and different food is provided every day. There are two hot springs in the hotel, one is relatively large, and the other is underground, which is smaller in scale, but looking out into the stream, there are fat koi fish swimming around, which is very cute [snickering]. Shiiba Sanso on the mountain is the sister hotel of Daishoya, so guests staying at Daishoya can enjoy a half-hour pick-up service to go to the mountain to soak in the hot spring for free. Facing the mountains, woods, and streams, soaking in the hot springs and drinking ice water is really a different kind of fun. A very happy accommodation experience

One of the few tall buildings in the town, equipped with rooftop indoor and outdoor onsen. Walkable distance to places around town. The hotel is renovating, but no disturbances from that, and I’m certain that after it finished, it will be great. Good facilities and hospitality. If I’m go back to the town, I would stay here again.

The water in Ureshino Onsen is really good. It is the best hot spring I have ever taken in Japan. My skin is smooth after taking a bath. The room is also very good. Compared with hot spring hotels in Hokkaido, Atami and Hakone, the room is a little old. But the rest is still the same Japanese service~

The tatami room includes a private bath. There are two large baths for ladies, one indoor and one open-air. It is really comfortable. The breakfast is buffet style. It is about a three or four minute walk from the bus station. The town is very quiet. You can buy souvenirs and other products in the hotel. If you don't want to go out and don't have a meal, you can buy lunch boxes/sandwiches in the hotel. The price is reasonable and delicious. They are made by the hotel restaurant. Go out to eat the famous hot spring tofu and hot spring ice cream, which are delicious!

A hot spring hotel friendly to solo travelers. The lady at the front desk wrote handwritten travel guide recommendations. You can make a reservation for the hot spring house once a day. It's really a beauty soup. My skin feels slippery after running. The town is not big, but it is very relaxing if you don’t do anything. Will go again if I have the chance. There is a lot of vinyl in the lounge on the first floor, and the owner seems to have good music taste. It’s nice to listen to music and drink some good wine at night.

After booking the hotel, I was hesitant and worried that it would be bad. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel! Everything is better than expected ^_^Small but beautiful! The front desk staff are friendly and attentive. There was a young man from China at the front desk who gave a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities, dinner reservation times and some sightseeing suggestions in Chinese. On Chinese New Year's Eve, I met a Japanese lady at the hotel front desk (who spoke very fluent English) who gave guests free drinks to celebrate the New Year, which made people feel cordial and warm. There are few people in the hotel's hot springs and they are very clean. Basically every time I go, the restaurant is reserved;) Dinner is a major feature of the hotel and worth experiencing. Although the ingredients don't look amazing, they are actually carefully prepared and high-quality ingredients. The cooking method is not very flashy, which is probably the characteristic of Ureshino. I ate every meal until I couldn't finish it. The Saga beef melts in your mouth, the tiny pufferfish is extremely delicious, the crabs are sweet and plump...^_^The soup tofu for breakfast is soft, glutinous and smooth in the mouth, without any beany smell, and the rich bean aroma is unforgettable. The appearance picture of the hotel on Ctrip’s official website is different from the actual one! This is actually the first photo I took of this! Much better than what is shown on the official website! Best hotel for traveling with parents!

Ureshino Onsen-Yadoya Back Street Hondori Onsen Hotel Take the bus to the left of the south exit of Takeo Station (IC Cards can be used to get on and off the bus) and get off at Chikujo Station (45 minutes, 680 yen). Go two blocks in the direction of the laundry shop in front and turn left. You will see Uchiroji Restaurant, which means you have arrived at the back street of the inn. Check in at the self-service machine of Hondori Hotel. First enter your name and last name in succession, and the room number will pop up. Then enter your address. After confirmation, breakfast and dinner coupons will pop up. Then pick up the dining time card on the counter. Pick up the supplies and bathrobes on the second floor and book a private bath with the waiter immediately. Check out at 10:00 the next morning Basically all self-service. If you have any questions, ask the restaurant staff for help. The dinner food is exquisite. Men may not be full. There are small snacks in the afternoon. The breakfast staff is not smiling. The hot spring private bath is 40min (by appointment). Choose no window for better privacy

The hotel environment is good, details can be seen in the picture, the overall level of one night and two meals is almost worth the money, only the following two points need to be improved: 1. Understand that it is difficult to recruit local young people and their English level is not enough. There is a Central Asian girl at the front desk of the hotel. Her English level is actually average, but her service ability really needs to be improved. She took the wrong hotel floor plan and introduced it. At the end, she found out that she had to start all over again (can I only start over when I was interrupted by reciting?) When she couldn't express herself in poor English, she didn't think of using a translator at all. I translated it into Japanese and asked her colleagues~ 2. Before going, I had been looking forward to the free loan bath for a long time, but in the end, except for the large baths for men and women, everything was under renovation:-(😭 In addition, dinner was served one by one, and I don’t know if it was not well connected or it was time-consuming to make it on the spot? For several dishes, I pressed the bell to remind them but still waited a long time before they were served.

Location: Far away from JR but very close to the bus terminal, only 5 minutes away. And the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services at the bus terminal, bus transfer station and JR, so it is not a problem. Facilities: Since the hotel has a bit of history, it is relatively dilapidated, but the facilities are sufficient, except for the relatively simple equipment in the room. Many parts of the old place are fading and peeling. After all, it has been some time since the last renovation. Food: I booked a hotel room and two meals. Dinner and breakfast were all buffet style. If I chose the most basic set meal, there was no seafood provided. Most of them are Japanese food, the taste is good, and the selection is normal. The surprising thing is that each restaurant provides a small stove and steamer, which can cook and steam food by yourself, but there are not many choices, and there is only a small candle provided for heating. Slow and will be used up quickly, no additional service is provided. Service: First of all, the pick-up service is very considerate. Before departure, we had to take a direct bus from Fukuoka Airport to Ureshino, which only took 45 minutes. I was already worried that I would not be able to catch the bus, which would affect the check-in time, and I was also worried that I would not be able to catch the last pick-up service (8pm). I kept in contact with the hotel and provided suggestions and solutions, which was very thoughtful. I also emailed the hotel about my situation on the way to the bus, and the hotel immediately reminded me of the correct drop-off point and asked the pick-up and drop-off staff to pick me up at that location (because I had chosen another location to reserve the pick-up service at the beginning). It was already dark after getting off the bus, but the staff kept waiting and came up to confirm that they were considerate. The counter staff are also considerate and courteous; but the restaurant staff are a little weak in comparison. They don't speak English. I understand it very well, but it seems that the stove for cooking food needs a lighter. It is not easy to find a lighter. When I asked the staff to get it, I didn't want to ignore it. Maybe it's because it's too busy, after all, there are only 2-3 employees. Instead, it is often the Japanese travelers next to me who remind me. Overall: There is a hotel in Ureshino that provides one bed and two meals. This one is considered to be more cost-effective. Other hotels are more expensive and may have higher quality, but this one is worth the price, location and shuttle service. Finally, the yukata in the hotel is the cutest and most beautiful I have ever used in different places in Japan, which made me fall in love with yukata.

Located in the elegant mountains and forests, you need to book a shuttle bus from a station to the store, or you can book a chartered bus to the destination. The decoration is relatively new and the room is large, so it can accommodate up to 6 people.
