The hostal is located in Jinsheng scenic spot, far from Dazhai and Pingan villages but secluded enough to enjoy a great view of the rice terraces. The area and hostal have seen better days pre COVID but I'm sure the area will pick up again. Many places are closed so there aren't many food options. The hostal offers a limited menu but it's enough to have during our 4-day stay. Great coffee and Mr. Wang is kind and ready to help. Clean sheets and beautiful environment. We tried bamboo rice and bamboo chicken. From Guilin it was almost 3-hour drive after heavy rain and landslides. Parking is a bit far from the hostal but it's not that hard to walk there. A great first stop and escape from the city.

The hotel environment is good, but the weather on May Day is not beautiful, it is full of fog outside, and the terraced fields, sea of clouds, and sunset that we were looking forward to are not seen😭 Service: The service is okay. There are too many people during the festival and there are many children, which inevitably makes noise, and the staff is a bit busy. However, there are WeChat message reminders before and during check-in, which is overall very good. Hygiene: It's okay. The glass needs to be wiped. Some of it is dirty because of the corpses of insects. It doesn't look good when taking pictures. It may be because of the inconvenient transportation. The green plants in the hotel and the room feel like they are dead, and the flower pots are also dirty (as shown in the picture). It is better to change them as soon as possible. Okay, this is a bit of a demerit. The water volume will decrease at night and the toilet cannot be flushed. Facilities: The basics are perfect. The hotel's meals are delicious, including the stir-fried pork.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean, and it was cement structure, the house was very new, there was no smell, and the hot water was very good. Although the room type was wrong, the problem was solved as soon as possible. The boss and the wife were very enthusiastic and attentive. The accommodation conditions were also good. There was also a balcony where you could see the terraces as soon as you opened the balcony window. I was very satisfied overall.
