"I came here with my son and his grandmother. The guesthouse is a family-run business, managed by a young host and his parents. It was spotlessly clean throughout. They even offered convenient pick-up and drop-off service from the village entrance and helped us with our luggage. The views are stunning, and it's wonderfully quiet. Visiting during the off-season meant fewer crowds, which was absolutely ideal. The passion fruit from the local mountain was incredibly sweet, and the air was wonderfully fresh. The host's cooking was also delicious. Both my mother-in-law and son thoroughly enjoyed their stay."

"This is a wonderful hotel! Obviously the view is the star of the show but the hotel does a great job highlighting it. The wooden construction makes such a peaceful atmosphere. And it smells so good:) The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We had a relaxing morning sipping tea on the balcony. The small child loved the pool (billiards) and the pool (though it was a bit chilly when we were there). The path winds over the front terraces of many hotel and this was one of them. So fun to see travelers as we ate dinner. Easy hikes to other view points from the hotel door. The breakfast was nice. I thought the meals would have had more fresh produce given the season (spring) and location but it was still good. Highly recommend."

"Facilities: The room has everything you need! The facilities are complete; the owner goes downstairs to the parking lot to get your luggage, and there's an elevator upstairs! Cleanliness: The guesthouse was newly renovated at the beginning of the year, but there was no smell at all. The owner used high-quality materials, and the room was spotless. Environment: The most important aspect – you can drive right up to the guesthouse! The upstairs rooms offer direct views of the rice terraces, located between Viewpoint 2 and Viewpoint 1. It's a 10-minute walk to both viewpoints. Service: Impeccable. The owner is incredibly welcoming, especially her cooking – a must-try! Even my picky wife and son raved about it. The owner kept offering cigarettes, haha! She was always there to let us know if we needed anything or had any questions, and she even gave us a detailed explanation of how to explore the Longji Rice Terraces! Thank you so much to the owners for their warm hospitality! The breakfast they served on our way home was delicious. This trip to Longji was perfect. Wishing them continued success and prosperity! Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the owner. My child had lost their watch at the hotel, and even though we had driven away some time ago, the owner called to let us know and then drove after us to return it. He repeatedly reminded us to drive carefully on the mountain roads. Thank you so much! 🙏"

We waited a long time and had to look for another hotel in the rain as no one could check us in. After talking with customer service of Trip, we finally got in contact. About 2 hours later we were told that we had to grab the room card ourselves.. Very strange situation. Even later when we went to look for dinner no one was there. The hotel was supposed to cater food too. Only after we got back was someone there who didn't even acknowledge the strange situation. It seems like most reviews are good, but we had a very bad experience. The hotel is not in the most beautiful part of Dazhai and others offer much nicer views."

"Location: You can drive right up to the hotel entrance! The staff were very proactive in helping us carry our luggage to the room, which was very spacious! It's very close to the cable car starting point, and the guesthouse offered to drive us there, taking just a few minutes. The cable car goes up to observation deck #3 at Golden Summit. Amenities: The guesthouse is well-equipped. The duvets and pillows were of good quality. There's a washing machine and dryer upstairs that guests can use for free. Service: All the staff were warm, polite, and patient. Highly recommend! Cons: The soundproofing isn't great. You can hear kids running in the hallway from your room, but it was still quiet once everyone went to bed."

They organized a free pick up to and from the bus stop and helped us organize the tickets for the bus to Guilin. The son speaks very good english so communication was no problem and he helped with any questions we had. The location was also extremely convenient and the view was very beautiful! Definitely recommend coming here!"

"The location is superb. Although none of the rooms offer a direct view of the terraced fields, all have balconies with stunning sunrise views of the valley! Parking is limited, and finding a suitable spot can be difficult during peak season if you're driving. However, staying here saves you the cost of the sightseeing bus ticket to Ping'an Village. The Jiulong Wuhu viewing platform is just a 2-minute walk away, providing excellent access to the morning terraced fields and a short walk (about half an hour) to the Qixing viewing point. The restaurant on the first floor is delicious and reasonably priced, and there's a large open-air terrace at the back, perfect for barbecues, gatherings, or stargazing. When visiting Ping'an Village, it's crucial to stay within the scenic area, specifically in the Jiulong Wuhu area. Here's why: after sunset, you can check in just a short walk away, enjoy the night view of the terraced fields directly, and the next morning, you can walk a short distance again to catch the sunrise (the sunrise view from Qixing is backlit!). Most importantly, the Jiulong Wuhu area is significantly higher than Qixing, offering a breathtaking panoramic view. See the accompanying photos below."
