Hygiene: The room was very clean!
Environment: The decoration is in wooden style, and the furniture is made of solid old ship wood, which is heavy and has a good texture. The doors and windows are triple-layered for sound insulation, keeping warm, windproof and soundproof. The air conditioner is on in the winter night and the room is very warm.
Service: The owner and his family are very hospitable. They upgraded our room for free and are very pet-friendly. I enjoyed gathering around the fireplace in the hall to keep warm, roast oranges and drink tea.
The rice is delicious, I recommend the stir-fried local chicken, it’s so delicious, the ingredients are very fresh!

This B&B is run by several post-90s (post-95s) people.
80% of the villages in this village are homestays.
But most of the guests in our B&B are foreigners, mostly French (maybe it has something to do with the name of the hotel: Lavie)
During our stay, we met many French people
The three young clerks all speak very good English.
Occasionally, I am invited to help translate in other stores.

The facilities, sanitation, environment and service of the room are very satisfactory. The fly in the ointment is that the sound insulation effect is a bit poor, and the hot water is slow! Hygiene: It's okay. The glass needs to be wiped. Some of it is dirty because of the corpses of insects. It doesn't look good when taking pictures. It may be because of the inconvenient transportation. The green plants in the hotel and the room feel like they are dead, and the flower pots are also dirty (as shown in the picture). It is better to change them as soon as possible. Okay, this is a bit of a demerit. The water volume will decrease at night and the toilet cannot be flushed.
Facilities: The basics are perfect. The hotel's meals are delicious, including the stir-fried pork.

LLarissaWe had a wonderful stay in Dazhai. The owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It has a nice and quiet location (near a viewpoint) and is ideal to start your hike to Ping’An from here. The room has a beautiful view on the rice terraces. Keep in mind that you have to do some stairs to arrive at the hotel (the luggage comes upstairs with a special system). We also ate here a few times and the food was really delicious.
