"First review I have ever written for accomodation in Australia but this one is well deserved. I wanted something with a bit more space indoors than a typical motel as I am travelling with a toddler, so I took a leap of faith with an accomodation with not a lot of reviews, and found a hidden gem. Tucked away towards Grampians about 30min drive away from Horsham and the main highway, is a combination of campsite and lodge. Vast open spaces with kangaroos and other manner of wildlife, which the toddler was happy to try and interact with and run around in. Nice views of the Grampians, and zero light pollution for star gazing. The property also have pits for campfires, children playground and a swimming pool. The accomodation we booked is a family cabin, which turned out to be very well maintained and clean. One family bedroom with a queen bed and a view, and another bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed. An open living room and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and fridge. The a furnished porch with clean furniture to enjoy the view and the roos with a coffee and snacks. The only thing we had to deal with was some insects. We lured them into the bathroom with the light on and locked them in with some bug spray for about 10min. This was expected for all rural stays we have had. Phil who checked us in was very nice and helpful, gave plenty of recommendations on whats around, and what is toddler friendly. I will definitely come back again on the next trip to the Grampians, or drive to SA."

"5/5 stars. Highly recommend. Especially due to the service by Linda. V polite, kind & professional person. Upon requesting I was offered an upgrade at a discounted rate. I asked for a couple of bowls and cutlery- clean stuff was promptly delivered to the room. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. We tested almost everything. The heated blanket, microwave, fridge.. and oh the shower, that was the best pressure from the shower head…hot water. Ample toiletries. Will highly recommend this place. It was close to a woolies, parking was safe & close to rooms. . Couldn’t fault this place. We even checked out 15-20 mins late, no issues. Highly recommended. I’m definitely staying here next time I’m in Horsham."

"The hotel we chose on the way was a bit old in decoration, but the room was very clean and tidy. Although the surrounding environment was close to the highway, it was also relatively quiet. As we checked in late, we could only call to inquire about the check-in method.
