Hotels in Sai Wan and Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

It should be a student apartment. I am a girl who came out to play by myself. It is very safe to live here. There is only one door downstairs for entry and exit. There is always someone at the front desk at the door, and you need to swipe your card to enter and exit. There are public washing machines and restaurants, but the washing machines can only be used with Octopus. There is also a public water dispenser with hot water on the floor. The room is very clean! It is really good, small and safe! The subway is also very convenient. It takes only two minutes to walk to the subway station of Sai Ying Camp. The security uncle downstairs is very good! Very nice, I will stay here again next time I come to Hong Kong! And you can see the sea from the high floors!

I've stayed at the hotel twice in one month and will be back again very soon. The central location and proximity to a variety of food and dining options, convenience stores, retail and luxury shopping, and more make this an ideal location for a very reasonable price.

The breakfast was very Chinese-oriented, ie- not a Western type cooked breakfast. The lifts were very frustrating- stopping at many floors even when no one was getting in or out. Also, the swimming pool was unavailable until July- this was not made clear in the website when we booked and was a major disappointment for us as well as several other guests, as we were able to go up to the pool area but not have a swim.

Great hotel with beautiful views. Attractive interior decoration, overall very spacious for a HK Island Hotel. Bathroom of the corner room is huge! Downside was the strong emphasis on Chinese language. Hotel had to send a technician to the room to change the language settings of TV, digital receiver, Netflix, Disney+. Had to converse with the technician through Google Translate as his English speaking skills were minimal. Also no playroom or other kids' facilities but I suppose that's forgiveable as the hotel seems to cater mainly to day trip and business travelers. Recommend the corner room, we had a great stay there! Didn't try the breakfast or other facilities but they all looked fine.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect. About 15 minutes taxi ride from West Kowloon fast station and about 200m from the HKU MTR station. Loads of restaurants and cafes around the hotel. The room was stunning and clean. The view is incredible. We stayed on the 26th floor and on the roof there is a beautiful pool and nice gym. Breakfast was delicious. I asked the hotel to provide some extra items to celebrate a special occasion and they were happy to help. Will definitely stay there again.

The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the bus stop for the airport and 10 minutes to the Star Ferry and also to the port for Macau. The view of the harbor is beautiful. The rooms are small, but that's fine. The breakfasts are quite good. I recommend it!

This hotel's prime location near HKU campus offers great convenience for academic visitors, with easy access to public transport and nearby shops/casual eateries. While rooms show visible signs of aging in their furnishings and bathroom fixtures, the property compensates with consistent cleanliness - well-maintained bedding, odor-free spaces, and daily thorough housekeeping. The slightly dated decor (think 90s-style wooden furniture) remains functional, and the quiet neighborhood ensures restful stays. A practical choice prioritizing location over luxury.

Good hotel for price compared to other hotels on Hong Kong island. The hotel area is away from the nicer spots in town.

The hotel is very clean, and situated at a convenient location for tram, bus, and Sai Ying Pun MTR station where just 2 stations to Central. Many eateries are nearby. In addition, the New Five Dragon Congee & Noodle Restaurant is at a few doors away.

My second stay here at 99 Bonham. Stayed here for 2 nights during the mid autumn festival. The room is spacious but the bathroom is a bit small compared to the size of room. Need to work on cleanliness as I could see some on the floor and on walls in the bathroom. But overall it’s clean and comfortable. The hotel gifted us lantern, pear, and a mooncake and some tea on Mid Autumn Festival. The lantern is so cute! But we’ll need to get batteries from 7-11 so that’s a bit of a trouble but we’re still happy with it.
