I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Warwick Hotel on Cheung Chau Island on 4-5 Jan 2025, and I must say it was a delightful experience! While the hotel has a charming, slightly aged character, it is well-maintained and adds to the unique ambiance of the place. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's location. Nestled in a quiet area, it offers breathtaking views of the sea that are truly mesmerizing. Waking up to the sound of waves and the sight of the horizon was a wonderful way to start each day. The room itself was spacious and designed simply yet comfortably, providing a great retreat after a day of exploring the island. The staff were friendly and welcoming. While there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the WiFi in the room being a bit unstable and the breakfast buffet lacking variety, these did not significantly impact my overall experience. Plus, with numerous restaurants and cafes nearby, I found plenty of delightful options for meals. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at the Warwick Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway on Cheung Chau Island!

This place is located perfectly at the top edge of the cove with a great view of the beach, island and ocean. Unfortunately this place had been neglected due to poor maintenance and lack of amenities. The AC in our room constantly blows cold. Wall finishes had fallen off and wooden door/frame were rotted. Shower sewage is slow so by end of your shower, the water would overflow. Multiple outlets malfunction. I will not come back to this hotel unless they at least renovate the rooms..

Ideal location with spectacular seaview. Room was being arranged on the low floor, while two small towels were missing.

All are very good. location and enviroment.we will come next time again.

Loved this hotel, in the perfect location by the main beach. We didn't have food, but it all looked great. Staff were very helpful 🙂

SIMPLE AND YET AMAZING AND SO PEACEFUL PLACE TO STAY

Sea-view room with a lovely balcony. Very enjoyable to have late night dinner and sleep with the sound of waves. But the hygiene level of the room is unacceptable, red spots on the towel and clear dirt on the bedsheet. The mouldy wall is less surprising comparatively. Although the hotel has 60-year history, such hygiene level is unacceptable for a $1000 worth room. I would like to pay another visit to Cheung Chau, but definitely not staying at Warwick again.

Building itself is a little old, but inside is clean and tidy. Staff is friendly, and food is good (had breakfast and dinner here)

Location good. Hotel price reasonable. I ate dinner at Hotel restaurant and the food was good. But the hotel room is old and no service provided. There is no telephone set in the hotel room to contact the Reception Desk in case of need.

The facilities were too old & not so clean. But the sea view was wonderful for falling into asleep.

The overall staying experience is quite good. Enjoyed the seaside view a lot. The environment around the hotel is also nice.

Excellent location with nature views, close to a beautiful beach. Good catering service with variety of restaurants and choices nearby, clean room and efficient service on checking in.
