Our recent visit was a delightful surprise, far exceeding our expectations. The sea was just a short 1.5-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient. The most challenging aspect was transporting our many bags to the specific location. However, after initially helping us with our luggage, the staff arranged for a bike with a wagon to assist us with our items on our departure.
The atmosphere was pleasantly uncrowded, and breakfast featured a charming English twist, including baked beans. I am eager to return, especially because of Kerina’s exceptional kindness towards both my daughter and me. During a difficult time marked by delayed and canceled flights, she went above and beyond to assist us, treating us with warmth and care typically reserved for friends rather than mere guests.
Kerina will always be remembered and cherished for her generosity. We look forward to returning!

Labor Day weekend rates are more expensive than usual but still manageable. You can consider visiting Silvermine Bay on Lantau Island. It is more than ten minutes' walk from the pier, with beaches and seaside sidewalks along the way, which is comfortable. The beach is just half a minute's walk away. The boss and employees are polite and enthusiastic. Please note that the room is very small. There is basically no space to move around except staying in bed. Fortunately, the hygiene is good. When you enter the room, you can smell the disinfected smell, which makes you feel at ease. At night, many phototactic flying insects, as big as thumbs, somehow managed to run into the room. Be careful if you are afraid of insects. The barbecue package purchased separately in the evening was pretty good and there was a lot of space.

Overall, the hotel is not bad. Basically, it is clean, 15 minutes from the bus stops. On the first line of the coast, there are shops nearby.
It turned out that this hotel requires a deposit, which we did not know. This caused some difficulties when checking in. Also, I had an early morning flight, before breakfast. I paid for breakfast, but they did not give me anything for the road (usually hotels collect some kind of dry ration). At the reception they just shrugged their shoulders.
Overall, for such a price, I think you can find something better

. The staff are warm and polite. Though small, the relaxing design and prime location balance practicality and relaxation effortlessly. For sure will visit here again 🌊🍖☀️
